आ या॑तु मि॒त्र ऋ॒तुभिः॒ कल्प॑मानः संवे॒शय॑न्पृथि॒वीमु॒स्रिया॑भिः । अथा॒स्मभ्यं॒ वरु॑णो वा॒युर॒ग्निर्बृ॒हद्रा॒ष्ट्रं सं॑वे॒श्यं॑ दधातु ॥ (१)

मृत्यु से रक्षा करने में समर्थ और मित्रवत् सब के उपकारी मित्र देवता अर्थात् सूर्य वसंत आदि ऋतुओं के द्वारा हमारी आयु को दीर्घ करने में समर्थ हों. वे अपनी किरणों से पृथ्वी को व्याप्त करें. सूर्य देव के आगमन के पश्चात वरुण, वायु और अग्नि हमें शासन करने योग्य विशाल राज्य प्रदान कराएं (१)
EN English Translation
Capable of protecting us from death and friendly, may the benevolent friend of all be able to prolong our life through the seasons of sun, spring, etc. They spread the earth with their rays. After the arrival of Sun God, Varuna, Vayu and Agni give us a vast kingdom capable of ruling (1)
धा॒ता रा॒तिः स॑वि॒तेदं जु॑षन्ता॒मिन्द्र॒स्त्वष्टा॒ प्रति॑ हर्यन्तु मे॒ वचः॑ । हु॒वे दे॒वीमदि॑तिं॒ शूर॑पुत्रां सजा॒तानां॑ मध्यमे॒ष्ठा यथासा॑नि ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सब के विधाता धाता देव, दानशील अर्यमा और सब के प्रेरक सविता देव मेरी हवि ग्रहण करें. इन के साथसाथ इंद्र और त्वष्टा देव भी मेरी स्तुतियां सुनें. मैं वीर पुत्रों की माता अदिति का आह्वान करता हूं, जिस से मैं अपने समान व्यक्तियों में सम्मान पा सकूं. (२)
EN English Translation
May everyone's creator Dhata Dev, charitable Aryama and everyone's motivator Savita Dev accept my wish. Along with them, Indra and Tvashta Dev should also listen to my praises. I call upon Aditi, the mother of brave sons, so that I can find respect in my like-minded people. (2)
हु॒वे सोमं॑ सवि॒तारं॒ नमो॑भि॒र्विश्वा॑नादि॒त्याँ अ॒हमु॑त्तर॒त्वे । अ॒यम॒ग्निर्दी॑दायद्दी॒र्घमे॒व स॑जा॒तैरि॒द्धोऽप्र॑तिब्रुवद्भिः ॥ (३)

मैं यजमान को श्रेष्ठ पद प्राप्त करने के लिए सोम का, सविता का तथा समस्त अदिति पुत्रों का नमस्कारात्मक मंत्रों के द्वारा आह्वान करता हूं. सब के आधारभूत अग्नि देव अपनी दीप्ति बढ़ाएं. मैं अपने अनुकूलवर्ती बंधु बांधवों के साथ चिरकाल तक श्रेष्ठता प्राप्त करूं (३)
EN English Translation
I invoke Som, Savita and all Aditi sons with salutationary mantras to the host to attain the highest position. Increase your radiance, the basic agni god of all. May I have eternal superiority with my friendly brothers and sisters (3)
इ॒हेद॑साथ॒ न प॒रो ग॑मा॒थेर्यो॑ गो॒पाः पु॑ष्ट॒पति॑र्व॒ आज॑त् । अ॒स्मै कामा॒योप॑ का॒मिनी॒र्विश्वे॑ वो दे॒वा उ॑प॒संय॑न्तु ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कामिनियो! तुम सब कन्या के समीप ही रहो. इस के सामने से दूर मत जाओ. मार्ग की प्रेरणा देने वाले एवं पालन कर्ता पूषा देव तुम्हे प्रेरणा दें. इस वर की इच्छा पूर्ति के लिए विश्वे देव तुझ कामना करने वाली स्त्री को उस के समीप जाने की प्रेरणा दें. (४)
EN English Translation
O Caminio! All of you stay close to the girl. Don't get away from the front of this. May Pusha Dev, who inspires and follows the path, inspires you. To fulfill the wish of this groom, may Vishwa Dev inspire the woman who wishes you to go near him. (4)
सं वो॒ मनां॑सि॒ सं व्र॒ता समाकू॑तीर्नमामसि । अ॒मी ये विव्र॑ता॒ स्थन॒ तान्वः॒ सं न॑मयामसि ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हमारे विरोधी जनो! हम तुम्हारे चित्तों, कर्मों और संकल्पों को अपने अनुकूल बनाते हैं. इन में जो नियमों के विरुद्ध काम करने वाले हों, उन्हें हम तुम्हारे सामने ही दंड दें. (५)
EN English Translation
O our opponents! We adapt your minds, deeds and resolutions to us. Those who are against the rules, we should punish them in front of you. (5)
अ॒हं गृ॑भ्णामि॒ मन॑सा॒ मनां॑सि॒ मम॑ चि॒त्तमनु॑ चि॒त्तेभि॒रेत॑ । मम॒ वशे॑षु॒ हृद॑यानि वः कृणोमि॒ मम॑ या॒तमनु॑वर्त्मान॒ एत॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मेरे विरोधी जनो! मैं अपने मन के द्वारा तुम सब के मनों को और अपने चित्त के द्वारा तुम सब के चित्तों को अपने वश में करता हूं. आओ और तुम सब भी अपने हृदयों को मेरे वश में करो. तुम सब भी मेरी इच्छा के अनुसार मेरा अनुगमन करो और मेरे अनुकूल बनो. (६)
EN English Translation
O my opponents! I control your minds through My mind and your minds through My mind. Come and all of you also control your hearts with Me. All of you also follow Me according to My will and be compatible with Me. (6)
