आब॑यो॒ अना॑बयो॒ रस॑स्त उ॒ग्र आ॑बयो । आ ते॑ कर॒म्भम॑द्मसि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे रोग निवृत्ति के लिए खाई जाने वाली सरसों एवं न खाए जाने वाले सरसों के तने! तेरा रस अर्थात् तेल रोग निवारण में सक्षम है. हे सरसों! हम तेरा करम्भ (साग) मंत्रों से युक्त कर के खाते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O mustard seeds eaten for recovery and mustard stems that are not eaten! Your juice i.e. oil is capable of preventing diseases. O mustard! We eat with mantras full of 'Tera Karambha' (greens). (1)
वि॒हह्लो॒ नाम॑ ते पि॒ता म॒दाव॑ती॒ नाम॑ ते मा॒ता । स हि॑न॒ त्वम॑सि॒ यस्त्वमा॒त्मान॒माव॑यः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सरसों के साग! तेरा पिता विहह्णल तथा माता मदावती नाम की है. तू अपना साग मनुष्यों को खाने के लिए दे देती है, इसलिए तू अपने मातापिता के समान नहीं रहती. (२)
EN English Translation
O mustard greens! Your father is vihnal and mother is madavati. You give your greens to men to eat, so you are not like your parents. (2)
तौवि॑लि॒केऽवे॑ल॒यावा॒यमै॑ल॒ब ऐ॑लयीत् । ब॒भ्रुश्च॑ ब॒भ्रुक॑र्ण॒श्चापे॑हि॒ निरा॑ल ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे तौविलिक नाम की पिशाची! तू रोगों का कारण है. तू हमारे रोग को पराजित कर के लौटा दे. तेरे द्वारा होने वाला ऐलय नाम का नेत्र रोग दूर चला जाए. हे बश्चु, बश्चुवर्ण तथा निराल नामक रोग! तुम इस पुरुष के शरीर से भाग जाओ. (३)
EN English Translation
This is the name of the vampire! You are the cause of diseases. You defeat our disease and return it. Let the eye disease called Ailay, which occurs by you, go away. O diseases called Bashchu, Bashchuvarna and Niral! You run away from this man's body. (3)
अ॑ल॒साला॑सि॒ पूर्वा॑ सि॒लाञ्जा॑ला॒स्युत्त॑रा । नी॑लागल॒साला॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पौधों की मंजरी अलसाला प्रथम उत्पन्न होने के कारण पूर्व है और बाद में उत्पन्न होने के कारण सिलांजाला उत्तरा है. नीलागलसाला इन के मध्य वाली है. (४)
EN English Translation
Manjari of plants is the former due to the first origin and Silanjala is uttara due to the subsequent production. Nilagalsala is the middle of these. (4)
