अ॒न्तरि॑क्षेण पतति॒ विश्वा॑ भू॒ताव॒चाक॑शत् । शुनो॑ दि॒व्यस्य॒ यन्मह॒स्तेना॑ ते ह॒विषा॑ विधेम ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
कौआ, कबूतर आदि घात करने की इच्छा से बारबार देखते हुए इस पुरुष के शरीर पर गिरते हैं. हे अग्नि! इस दोष को शांत करने के लिए हम स्वर्ग में रहने वाले श्वान के तेज की हवि से तुम्हारी सेवा करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Crows, pigeons, etc. fall on this man's body while looking again and again with the desire to kill. O agni! To calm this defect, we serve you with great enthusiasm for the glory of the dog living in heaven. (1)
ये त्रयः॑ कालका॒ञ्जा दि॒वि दे॒वा इ॑व श्रि॒ताः । तान्सर्वा॑नह्व ऊ॒तये॒ऽस्मा अ॑रि॒ष्टता॑तये ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
कालकांज नाम के जो तीन असुर उत्तम कमो के कारण देवों के समान स्वर्ग में वर्तमान हैं, मैं इस पुरुष की रक्षा के लिए तथा कौए, कबूतर आदि पक्षियों के आघात संबंधी दोष की भीति के निमित्त सभी कालकांज असुरों का आह्वान करता हूं. (२)
EN English Translation
The three asuras named Kalkanj, who are present in heaven like gods due to the best of their best, I call upon all the Kalakanj Asuras to protect this man and to fear the trauma defects of crows, pigeons etc. birds. (2)
अ॒प्सु ते॒ जन्म॑ दि॒वि ते॑ स॒धस्थं॑ समु॒द्रे अ॒न्तर्म॑हि॒मा ते॑ पृथि॒व्याम् । शुनो॑ दि॒व्यस्य॒ यन्मह॒स्तेना॑ ते ह॒विषा॑ विधेम ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि, वाडवाग्नि के रूप में तुम्हारा जन्म सागर में हुआ था तथा सूर्य के रूप में तुम्हारी स्थिति आकाश में रही है. सागर और धरती के मध्य तुम्हारी महिमा देखी जाती है. हे अग्नि! हम हवि के द्वारा तुम्हारी सेवा करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O Agni, you were born in the ocean as Wadvagni and your position as sun has been in the sky. Your glory is seen between the ocean and the earth. O agni! We serve you through Havi. (3)
