वाय॒वा या॑हि दर्शते॒मे सोमा॒ अरं॑कृताः । तेषां॑ पाहि श्रु॒धी हव॑म् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दर्शनीय वायु! आओ, यह सोमरस तैयार है, इसे पिओ. हम सोमपान के लिए तुम्हें बुला रहे हैं. तुम हमारी यह पुकार सुनो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Notable (air) Yaayu! Come on, this somras is ready, drink it. We are calling you to Sompan. You accept this call of ours. (1)
वाय॑ उ॒क्थेभि॑र्जरन्ते॒ त्वामच्छा॑ जरि॒तारः॑ । सु॒तसो॑मा अह॒र्विदः॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! अग्निष्टोम आदि यज्ञों के ज्ञाता ऋत्विज् तथा यजमान आदि हम संस्कार द्वारा शुद्ध सोमरस के साथ तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Yaayu! The knower of the yajnas like Agnishtom, the ritvijs and the hosts, etc., we praise you with pure somras through the sanskar. (2)
वायो॒ तव॑ प्रपृञ्च॒ती धेना॑ जिगाति दा॒शुषे॑ । उ॒रू॒ची सोम॑पीतये ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! तुम सोमरस की प्रशंसा करते हुए उसे पीने की जो बात कहते हो, वह बहुत से यजमानों के पास तक जाती है. (३)
EN English Translation
O Yaayu! The thing you say about drinking someras while praising it, goes to many hosts. (3)
इन्द्र॑वायू इ॒मे सु॒ता उप॒ प्रयो॑भि॒रा ग॑तम् । इन्द॑वो वामु॒शन्ति॒ हि ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र और वायु! तुम दोनों हमें देने के लिए अन्न लेकर आओ. सोमरस तैयार है और तुम दोनों की अभिलाषा कर रहा है. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra and the Yaayu! You two bring food to give us. Somras is ready and is wishing for both of you. (4)
वाय॒विन्द्र॑श्च चेतथः सु॒तानां॑ वाजिनीवसू । तावा या॑त॒मुप॑ द्र॒वत् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु और इंद्र! तुम दोनों यह जान लो कि सोमरस तैयार है. तुम दोनों अन्नयुक्त द्रव्य में रहने वाले हो. तुम दोनों शीघ्र ही यज्ञ के समीप आओ. (५)
EN English Translation
O Yaayu and indra! You both know that Somras is ready. You both live in foody matter. You both come close to the yagna soon. (5)
वाय॒विन्द्र॑श्च सुन्व॒त आ या॑त॒मुप॑ निष्कृ॒तम् । म॒क्ष्वि१॒॑त्था धि॒या न॑रा ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु और इंद्र! सोमरस देने वाले यजमान ने जो सोमरस तैयार किया है, तुम दोनों उसके समीप आओ. हे दोनों देवो! तुम्हारे आने से यह यज्ञकर्म शीघ्र पूरा हो जाएगा. (६)
EN English Translation
O Yaayu and indra! Both of you Come close to the somras that the host have prepared . Oh, both gods! With your arrival this yajnakarma will be completed soon. (6)
मि॒त्रं हु॑वे पू॒तद॑क्षं॒ वरु॑णं च रि॒शाद॑सम् । धियं॑ घृ॒ताचीं॒ साध॑न्ता ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं पवित्र बल वाले मित्र तथा हिंसकों का नाश करने वाले वरुण का यज्ञ में आह्वान करता हूं. ये दोनों धरती पर जल लाने का काम करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
I call upon Varuna in the yagna, a friend of holy force and the destroyer of the violent,. They both work to bring water to the earth. (7)
ऋ॒तेन॑ मित्रावरुणावृतावृधावृतस्पृशा । क्रतुं॑ बृ॒हन्त॑माशाथे ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र और वरुण! तुम दोनों यज्ञ के वर्धक और यज्ञ का स्पर्श करने वाले हो. तुम लोग हमें यज्ञ का फल देने के लिए इस विशाल यज्ञ को व्याप्त किए हुए हो. (८)
EN English Translation
Hey Mitra and Varun! Both of you are the enhancer of the yajna and the toucher of the yajna. You have made this huge yajna to give us the fruit of the yajna. (8)
क॒वी नो॑ मि॒त्रावरु॑णा तुविजा॒ता उ॑रु॒क्षया॑ । दक्षं॑ दधाते अ॒पस॑म् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मित्र और वरुण बुद्धिमान् लोगों का कल्याण करने वाले और अनेक लोगों के आश्रय हैं. ये हमारे बल और कर्म की रक्षा करें. (९)
EN English Translation
Varuna and Mitra are the ones who do good and provide shelter to many wise people. Let them protect our strength and action. (9)
