प्र ह्यच्छा॑ मनी॒षा स्पा॒र्हा यन्ति॑ नि॒युतः॑ । प्र द॒स्रा नि॒युद्र॑थः पू॒षा अ॑विष्टु॒ माहि॑नः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारे अभिलाषा योग्य एवं नियमित स्तुतिवचन पूषादेव को प्राप्त करने के लिए भली प्रकार जाते हैं. दर्शनीय, जाने के लिए सदा रथ जोड़ने वाले एवं महान् पूषादेव आकर हमारी रक्षा करें. (१)
EN English Translation
Our desire-worthy and regular hymns go well to receive The Lord. Let the great God, who always connects the chariots to go, and the great God, come and protect us. (1)
यस्य॒ त्यन्म॑हि॒त्वं वा॒ताप्य॑म॒यं जनः॑ । विप्र॒ आ वं॑सद्धी॒तिभि॒श्चिके॑त सुष्टुती॒नाम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यह मेधावी यजमान सूर्यमंडल में स्थित महान् जलसमूह को यज्ञक्रिया द्वारा धरती पर लावें. पूषादेव यजमान की शोभन स्तुतियां जानें. (२)
EN English Translation
This brilliant host should bring the great water group located in the sun system to the earth through yajna kriya. Know the praises of the Lord's host. (2)
स वे॑द सुष्टुती॒नामिन्दु॒र्न पू॒षा वृषा॑ । अ॒भि प्सुरः॑ प्रुषायति व्र॒जं न॒ आ प्रु॑षायति ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोम के समान रस बरसाने वाले पूषादेव शोभन स्तुतियों को जानते हैं. सुंदर पूषा हम पर जल बरसाते हैं एवं हमारी गोशाला को सींचते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Pushadeva, who showers the same juice as Soma, knows the Shobhan hymns. Beautiful pushas pour water on us and irrigates our goshala. (3)
मं॒सी॒महि॑ त्वा व॒यम॒स्माकं॑ देव पूषन् । म॒ती॒नां च॒ साध॑नं॒ विप्रा॑णां चाध॒वम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अभिलाषाओं को पूरा करने वाले एवं बुद्धिमानों को भी कंपित करने वाले पूषादेव! हम तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O God who fulfills the desires and trembles even the wise! We praise you. (4)
प्रत्य॑र्धिर्य॒ज्ञाना॑मश्वह॒यो रथा॑नाम् । ऋषिः॒ स यो मनु॑र्हितो॒ विप्र॑स्य यावयत्स॒खः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यज्ञों के आधे भाग के भागी, रथों में घोड़ों के द्वारा चलने वाले, सबको देखने वाले एवं मानवों के हितैषी पूषादेव शत्रुओं को दूर भगाने वाले मित्र हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
Part of the yagnas, the horse-riding in the chariots, the seer of all and the man-friendly Pushadeva is the friend who drives away the enemies. (5)
आ॒धीष॑माणायाः॒ पतिः॑ शु॒चाया॑श्च शु॒चस्य॑ च । वा॒सो॒वा॒योऽवी॑ना॒मा वासां॑सि॒ मर्मृ॑जत् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
संतान उत्पन्न करने में समर्थ बकरी और बकरे के स्वामी पूषा भेड़ के बालों के दशापवित्र नामक वस्त्र बुनते हैं एवं शुद्ध करते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The owner of the goat and goat capable of producing offspring, Pusha weaves and purifies a garment called Dashapavitra of sheep's hair. (6)
इ॒नो वाजा॑नां॒ पति॑रि॒नः पु॑ष्टी॒नां सखा॑ । प्र श्मश्रु॑ हर्य॒तो दू॑धो॒द्वि वृथा॒ यो अदा॑भ्यः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ईश्वर पूषा अन्नों के स्वामी एवं पुष्टिकारक वस्तुओं के मित्र हैं. शत्रुओं द्वारा अपराजेय पूषा अपने अभिलषित यजमान का सोमरस पीकर अनायास ही अपनी दाढ़ी को हिलाते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
God is the lord of the food grains and the friend of confirmatory things. The worship, unbeatable by the enemies, spontaneously shakes his beard by drinking the somras of his beloved host. (7)
आ ते॒ रथ॑स्य पूषन्न॒जा धुरं॑ ववृत्युः । विश्व॑स्या॒र्थिनः॒ सखा॑ सनो॒जा अन॑पच्युतः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पूषा! बकरे तुम्हारे रथ की धुरी आगे खींचते हैं. तुम सभी याचकों के मित्र, बहुत जन्म लेने वाले एवं अपने अधिकार से च्युत न होने वाले हो. (८)
EN English Translation
O God! The goats pull the axis of your chariot forward. You are friends of all the priests, those who are very born and are not going to be lost in your own right. (8)
अ॒स्माक॑मू॒र्जा रथं॑ पू॒षा अ॑विष्टु॒ माहि॑नः । भुव॒द्वाजा॑नां वृ॒ध इ॒मं नः॑ शृणव॒द्धव॑म् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान् पूषादेव अपने बल के द्वारा हमारे रथ की रक्षा करें, हमारे अन्नों को बढ़ावें और हमारी इस पुकार को सुनें. (९)
EN English Translation
May the great God protect our chariot with his power, increase our grains and listen to this call of ours. (9)
