प॒रा॒वतो॒ ये दिधि॑षन्त॒ आप्यं॒ मनु॑प्रीतासो॒ जनि॑मा वि॒वस्व॑तः । य॒याते॒र्ये न॑हु॒ष्य॑स्य ब॒र्हिषि॑ दे॒वा आस॑ते॒ ते अधि॑ ब्रुवन्तु नः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो देवगण दूर देश से आकर मनुष्यों के साथ मित्रता स्थापित करते हैं, मानवों द्वारा प्रसन्न होकर जो देव वैवस्वत मनु से उत्पन्न मनुष्यों को धारण करते हैं एवं जो देव नहुषपुत्र ययाति राजर्षि के यज्ञ में बैठते हैं, वे धन आदि देकर हमें पूजित करें. (१)
EN English Translation
The devas who come from a distant land and establish friendship with human beings, who are pleased with the human beings, who possess the man born of the God Vaivasvata Manu and who sit in the yagna of The God Nahushputra Yayati Rajarshi, may worship us by giving us money, etc. (1)
विश्वा॒ हि वो॑ नम॒स्या॑नि॒ वन्द्या॒ नामा॑नि देवा उ॒त य॒ज्ञिया॑नि वः । ये स्थ जा॒ता अदि॑तेर॒द्भ्यस्परि॒ ये पृ॑थि॒व्यास्ते म॑ इ॒ह श्रु॑ता॒ हव॑म् ॥ (२)

हे देवो! तुम्हारे सभी नाम नमस्कार के योग्य, वंदनीय एवं यज्ञ के योग्य हैं. जो देव अदिति, जल एवं पृथ्वी से उत्पन्न हुए हैं, वे यहां हमारी पुकार को सुनें. (२)
EN English Translation
Oh, God! All your names are worthy of greeting, worthy of salutation and worthy of yajna. The gods who were born of Aditi, water and earth, listen to Our call here. (2)
येभ्यो॑ मा॒ता मधु॑म॒त्पिन्व॑ते॒ पयः॑ पी॒यूषं॒ द्यौरदि॑ति॒रद्रि॑बर्हाः । उ॒क्थशु॑ष्मान्वृषभ॒रान्स्वप्न॑स॒स्ताँ आ॑दि॒त्याँ अनु॑ मदा स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (३)

पृथ्वी माता जिन देवों के लिए मधुर दूध बहाती है और अदीन तथा बादलों से घिरा हुआ आकाश जिनके लिए अमृत धारण करता है, उन प्रशंसनीय शक्ति वाले, वर्षा करने वाले, शोभन कर्म वाले एवं अदितिपुत्र देवों के लिए स्तुति करो. (३)
EN English Translation
Praise the gods for whom Mother Earth pours out sweet milk and for the deities for whom Adin and the cloud-riddled sky holds nectar, those with admirable power, the rainers, the doers of adornment and the sons of Aditi. (3)
नृ॒चक्ष॑सो॒ अनि॑मिषन्तो अ॒र्हणा॑ बृ॒हद्दे॒वासो॑ अमृत॒त्वमा॑नशुः । ज्यो॒तीर॑था॒ अहि॑माया॒ अना॑गसो दि॒वो व॒र्ष्माणं॑ वसते स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (४)

बिना पलक गिराए यज्ञकर्म के नेताओं को देखने वाले देवों ने लोक की रक्षा के लिए विस्तृत अमृत प्राप्त किया था. तेजस्वी रथ वाले, विघ्नरहित यज्ञकर्मो वाले व पापरहित देवगण लोगों के कल्याण के लिए स्वर्ग के उन्नत प्रदेश में रहते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
The devas who saw the leaders of the yagnakarma without dropping an eyelid had obtained elaborate nectar to protect the folk. The bright charioteers, those with non-disturbance yagnakarmas and sinless devas live in the advanced region of heaven for the welfare of the people. (4)
स॒म्राजो॒ ये सु॒वृधो॑ य॒ज्ञमा॑य॒युरप॑रिह्वृता दधि॒रे दि॒वि क्षय॑म् । ताँ आ वि॑वास॒ नम॑सा सुवृ॒क्तिभि॑र्म॒हो आ॑दि॒त्याँ अदि॑तिं स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अपने तेज से भली-भांति सुशोभित एवं भली प्रकार उन्नत जो देव यज्ञ में आते हैं एवं किसी के द्वारा भी अहिंसित होकर स्वर्ग में रहते हैं, उन महान् देवों और अदिति की सेवा कल्याण के निमित्त नमस्कार एवं शोभन स्तुतियों द्वारा करो. (५)
EN English Translation
Serve those great gods and Goddesses and Aditi who are well-groomed and well-advanced with your swiftness and live in heaven without any one, for the welfare of those great gods and Aditi. (5)
को वः॒ स्तोमं॑ राधति॒ यं जुजो॑षथ॒ विश्वे॑ देवासो मनुषो॒ यति॒ ष्ठन॑ । को वो॑ऽध्व॒रं तु॑विजाता॒ अरं॑ कर॒द्यो नः॒ पर्ष॒दत्यंहः॑ स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! मेरे अतिरिक्त कौन तुम्हारी स्तुति कर सकता है, जिसकी तुम सेवा करो? हे ज्ञाता देवो! तुम संतान वाले बनो. मेरे अतिरिक्त कौन यजमान स्तुतियों द्वारा तुम्हारा यज्ञ अलंकृत करता है. यज्ञ हमें पाप से बचाकर हमारा कल्याण करता है. (६)
EN English Translation
Oh, God! Who can praise you besides Me, whom you serve? O god of the knower! You become the child. Who besides Me adorns your yajna by host hymns? Yajna does us well by saving us from sin. (6)
येभ्यो॒ होत्रां॑ प्रथ॒मामा॑ये॒जे मनुः॒ समि॑द्धाग्नि॒र्मन॑सा स॒प्त होतृ॑भिः । त आ॑दित्या॒ अभ॑यं॒ शर्म॑ यच्छत सु॒गा नः॑ कर्त सु॒पथा॑ स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (७)

सबसे पहले मनु श्रद्धायुक्त मन से सात होताओं के साथ अग्ने प्रज्वलित करके स्तुतियों द्वारा जिन देवों का यजन करते हैं, वे देव हमें निर्भय करें, कल्याण दें एवं हमारी भलाई के लिए सभी मार्गो को सुगम बनावें. (७)
EN English Translation
First of all, let the gods whom Manu worships through praises by lighting the agne with seven hotas with a reverential mind, may the gods whom he worships us without fear, give us welfare and make all the paths easier for our well-being. (7)
य ईशि॑रे॒ भुव॑नस्य॒ प्रचे॑तसो॒ विश्व॑स्य स्था॒तुर्जग॑तश्च॒ मन्त॑वः । ते नः॑ कृ॒तादकृ॑ता॒देन॑स॒स्पर्य॒द्या दे॑वासः पिपृता स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
उत्तम ज्ञान वाले एवं सर्वज्ञ देव समस्त जंगम लोक के स्वामी हैं. हे देवो! तुम हमें कृत अथवा अकृत पाप से बचाकर आज हमारे कल्याण को बढ़ाओ. (८)
EN English Translation
The god of good knowledge and omniscient is the master of all the movable worlds. O God! You increase our welfare today by saving us from committed or uncratic sin. (8)
भरे॒ष्विन्द्रं॑ सु॒हवं॑ हवामहेंऽहो॒मुचं॑ सु॒कृतं॒ दैव्यं॒ जन॑म् । अ॒ग्निं मि॒त्रं वरु॑णं सा॒तये॒ भगं॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी म॒रुतः॑ स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम पाप से छुड़ाने वाले, शोभन-आह्वान वाले एवं शोभन कर्म वाले देवों के संबंधी इंद्र को सब यज्ञों में बुलाते हैं. हम अन्नलाभ और अविनाशी बनने के लिए अग्नि, मित्र, वरुण, भग, द्यावा-पृथिवी और मरुतों को बुलाते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
We call Indra, the one who redeems from sin, the one who is invoking the adornment and the one with the adornment of the deeds, in all the yagnas. We call upon agni, mitra, varuna, bhaga, dyava-prithvivi and maruts to become an annalabh and avinashi. (9)
सु॒त्रामा॑णं पृथि॒वीं द्याम॑ने॒हसं॑ सु॒शर्मा॑ण॒मदि॑तिं सु॒प्रणी॑तिम् । दैवीं॒ नावं॑ स्वरि॒त्रामना॑गस॒मस्र॑वन्ती॒मा रु॑हेमा स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम भली प्रकार रक्षा करने वाली, विस्तृत, पापरहित, शोभन, सुखयुक्त, क्षयरहित, सुदृढ़ गठन वाली, शोभन आचरण युक्त, निष्पाप एवं विनाशरहित द्युलोकरूपी नाव पर कल्याण के लिए चढ़ें. (१०)
EN English Translation
Let us climb a well-guarded, elaborate, sinless, well-nourished, well-nourished, well-nourished, decay-free, strong-formed, well-intentioned, flawless and destruction-free duloki boat for welfare. (10)
विश्वे॑ यजत्रा॒ अधि॑ वोचतो॒तये॒ त्राय॑ध्वं नो दु॒रेवा॑या अभि॒ह्रुतः॑ । स॒त्यया॑ वो दे॒वहू॑त्या हुवेम शृण्व॒तो दे॑वा॒ अव॑से स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञ के पात्र देवो! तुम रक्षा के निमित्त हमसे कहो एवं विनाश करने वाली दुर्गति से हमें बचाओ. हम सत्यरूप यज्ञ द्वारा तुम्हें बुलाते हैं. रक्षा और कल्याण के लिए तुम हमारी पुकार सुनो. (११)
EN English Translation
O god of the sacrificial character! Tell us for the sake of protection and save us from the evil that is causing destruction. We call you by the Satyarup Yajna. Listen to our call to you for protection and well-being. (11)
अपामी॑वा॒मप॒ विश्वा॒मना॑हुति॒मपारा॑तिं दुर्वि॒दत्रा॑मघाय॒तः । आ॒रे दे॑वा॒ द्वेषो॑ अ॒स्मद्यु॑योतनो॒रु णः॒ शर्म॑ यच्छता स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! हमारे रोगों और देवों का आह्वान न करने वाली दुर्बुद्धि को हमसे दूर करो. तुम लोभमय बुद्धि को हमसे अलग करो. तुम दुष्ट की पापमय बुद्धि हमसे दूर करो. तुम शत्रुओं को हमसे दूर कर दो. तुम हमें विशेष सुख और कल्याण प्रदान करो. (१२)
EN English Translation
Oh, God! Remove from us our diseases and the evil that does not invoke our gods. You separate the greedy intellect from us. You take away from us the sinful wisdom of the wicked. Take your enemies away from us. You give us special happiness and well-being. (12)
अरि॑ष्टः॒ स मर्तो॒ विश्व॑ एधते॒ प्र प्र॒जाभि॑र्जायते॒ धर्म॑ण॒स्परि॑ । यमा॑दित्यासो॒ नय॑था सुनी॒तिभि॒रति॒ विश्वा॑नि दुरि॒ता स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अदितिपुत्र देवो! जिन्हें तुम शोभन-मार्गो से ले जाते हो एवं सभी पापों से दूर करके कल्याण प्रदान करते हो, वे सब लोग सभी अनिष्टों से सुरक्षित रहकर वृद्धि प्राप्त करते हैं एवं धर्मकार्यों के पश्चात् संतान की उन्नति पाते हैं. (१३)
EN English Translation
O god of Aditi! All those whom you take from the paths of adornment and give welfare by removing them from all sins, they all get the growth by staying safe from all evils and get the advancement of the child after the righteous works. (13)
यं दे॑वा॒सोऽव॑थ॒ वाज॑सातौ॒ यं शूर॑साता मरुतो हि॒ते धने॑ । प्रा॒त॒र्यावा॑णं॒ रथ॑मिन्द्र सान॒सिमरि॑ष्यन्त॒मा रु॑हेमा स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! अन्नलाभ के लिए तुम जिसकी रक्षा करते हो, हे मरुतो! युद्ध में संचित धन पाने के लिए तुम जिस रथ की रक्षा करते हो, हे इंद्र! उसी प्रातःकाल युद्ध में जाने वाले, सेवन करने योग्य एवं ध्वस्त न होने वाले रथ पर हम कल्याण के लिए चढ़ें. (१४)
EN English Translation
Oh, God! What you protect for the benefit of food, O Maruto! The chariot you protect to get the wealth accumulated in the war, O Indra! That same morning, we climb the chariot that goes into battle, is unsustainable and undeterminable for the welfare of us. (14)
स्व॒स्ति नः॑ प॒थ्या॑सु॒ धन्व॑सु स्व॒स्त्य१॒॑प्सु वृ॒जने॒ स्व॑र्वति । स्व॒स्ति नः॑ पुत्रकृ॒थेषु॒ योनि॑षु स्व॒स्ति रा॒ये म॑रुतो दधातन ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मरुतो! शोभन-पथ वाले देश एवं मरुस्थल दोनों में हमारा कल्याण हो. जल एवं आयुधों से युक्त युद्ध में हमारा कल्याण करो. पुत्रों को उत्पन्न करने वाली नारियों में हमारा कल्याण हो. तुम धनलाभ के लिए हमारा कल्याण करो. (१५)
EN English Translation
O Maruto! May we have welfare in both the land and the desert. Do us good in a war of water and armaments. May we have the welfare of the women who produce sons. You do our welfare for wealth. (15)
स्व॒स्तिरिद्धि प्रप॑थे॒ श्रेष्ठा॒ रेक्ण॑स्वत्य॒भि या वा॒ममेति॑ । सा नो॑ अ॒मा सो अर॑णे॒ नि पा॑तु स्वावे॒शा भ॑वतु दे॒वगो॑पा ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो धरती मार्ग पर चलने के लिए कल्याणकारिणी है, सर्वोत्तम धनसंपन्न एवं यज्ञ की उत्तर वेदी पर प्राप्त होने वाली है, वह घर एवं वन दोनों में हमारी रक्षा करे. देवों द्वारा सुरक्षित वह धरती हमारे लिए सुखपूर्वक रहने योग्य हो. (१६)
EN English Translation
The one who is good for walking on the path of the earth, the best wealthy and the answer of the yagna is to be found at the altar, may he protect us both in the house and in the forest. May that earth, protected by the gods, be able to live happily for us. (16)
ए॒वा प्ल॒तेः सू॒नुर॑वीवृधद्वो॒ विश्व॑ आदित्या अदिते मनी॒षी । ई॒शा॒नासो॒ नरो॒ अम॑र्त्ये॒नास्ता॑वि॒ जनो॑ दि॒व्यो गये॑न ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अदितिपुत्र देवो एवं अदिति! प्लुति के पुत्र विद्वान् गय ऋषि ने तुम सब लोगों को बढ़ाया था. देवों की कृपा से मानवों को प्रभुता मिलती है. गय ऋषि ने देवसमूह की स्तुति की थी. (१७)
EN English Translation
O aditiputra devas and aditi! The learned sage Sage, the son of Pluty, had raised you all up. By the grace of the gods, human beings get dominion. Sage Gaya had praised the god group. (17)
