ऋ॒जुरिच्छंसो॑ वनवद्वनुष्य॒तो दे॑व॒यन्निददे॑वयन्तम॒भ्य॑सत् । सु॒प्रा॒वीरिद्व॑नवत्पृ॒त्सु दु॒ष्टरं॒ यज्वेदय॑ज्यो॒र्वि भ॑जाति॒ भोज॑नम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ब्रह्मणस्पति का सरल चित्त स्तोता के शत्रुओं का विनाश करे. देवों का वह भक्त देवविरोधियों को पराजित करे. ब्रह्मणस्पति को तृप्त करने वाला याज्ञिक युद्ध में अदमनीय शञ्रुओं का नाश करके यज्ञविरोधियों के धन का उपभोग करे. (१)
EN English Translation
The simple mind of Brahmanaspati should destroy the enemies of the stota. Let that devotee of gods defeat the deities. The yajnaka who satisfies the Brahmaspati consumes the wealth of the yagyavirodhis by destroying the indomitable shantrus in the war. (1)
यज॑स्व वीर॒ प्र वि॑हि मनाय॒तो भ॒द्रं मनः॑ कृणुष्व वृत्र॒तूर्ये॑ । ह॒विष्कृ॑णुष्व सु॒भगो॒ यथास॑सि॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पते॒रव॒ आ वृ॑णीमहे ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वीर! ब्रह्मणस्पति की स्तुति करो. अभिमानी शत्रुओं के प्रति युद्ध के लिए प्रस्थान करो एवं शन्रुनाशक संग्राम में अपना मन दृढ़ करो. ब्रह्मणस्पति के निमित्त हव्य तैयार करो. इससे तुम्हें सीभाग्य मिलेगा. हम उनसे रक्षा की याचना करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Oh, hero! Praise the Brahmanaspati. Go out to war against arrogant enemies and strengthen your mind in the destructive struggle. Prepare a havya for the sake of Brahmanaspati. This will give you the best luck. We beg them to protect. (2)
स इज्जने॑न॒ स वि॒शा स जन्म॑ना॒ स पु॒त्रैर्वाजं॑ भरते॒ धना॒ नृभिः॑ । दे॒वानां॒ यः पि॒तर॑मा॒विवा॑सति श्र॒द्धाम॑ना ह॒विषा॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पति॑म् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो श्रद्धालु यजमान देवों के पालक ब्रह्मणस्पति की सेवा हव्य द्वारा करता है, वह अपने आत्मीयजनों, पुत्रों एवं परिचारकों सहित अन्न और धन प्राप्त करता है. (३)
EN English Translation
The devotee who serves brahmaspati, the guardian of the host gods, receives food and wealth along with his relatives, sons and attendants. (3)
यो अ॑स्मै ह॒व्यैर्घृ॒तव॑द्भि॒रवि॑ध॒त्प्र तं प्रा॒चा न॑यति॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पतिः॑ । उ॒रु॒ष्यती॒मंह॑सो॒ रक्ष॑ती रि॒षों॒३॒॑ऽहोश्चि॑दस्मा उरु॒चक्रि॒रद्भु॑तः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो यजमान घृतयुक्त हव्यों से ब्रह्मणस्पति की सेवा करता है, उसे वे प्राचीन सरल मार्ग से ले जाते हैं, पाप, शत्रुओं तथा दरिद्रता से रक्षा करते हैं और अदभुत उपकार करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
The host who serves the Brahmanaspati with arrogant words, they take him by the ancient simple way, protect him from sin, enemies and poverty and do wonders. (4)
