हे सविता देव! तुम सर्वप्रथम यज्ञ के योग्य देवों के लिए अमरता का साधन सोम उत्पन्न करते हो. इसके बाद हव्यदाता यजमान को प्रकाशित करते हो तथा मनुष्यों को पिता, पुत्र व पौत्र के क्रम से जीवन देते हो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Savita Dev! You first produce som, the instrument of immortality for the deities worthy of yajna. After this, the givers reveal the host and give life to men in the order of the Father, the Son and the Grandson. (2)
