व॒यमु॑ त्वा पथस्पते॒ रथं॒ न वाज॑सातये । धि॒ये पू॑षन्नयुज्महि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मार्गपालक पूषा! हम अन्नलाभ एवं यज्ञपूर्ति के लिए तुम्हें युद्ध में रथ के समान अपने सामने करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O guiding Father! We make you like a chariot in battle for the sake of food and sacrifice. (1)
अ॒भि नो॒ नर्यं॒ वसु॑ वी॒रं प्रय॑तदक्षिणम् । वा॒मं गृ॒हप॑तिं नय ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पूषा! मानव हितकारी, धन के द्वारा दरिद्रता नष्ट करने वाला, प्राचीन काल में धनदानकर्तता एक गृहस्वामी हमें दो. (२)
EN English Translation
O God! Give us a homeowner who is a human benefactor, destroying poverty by money, giving us wealth in ancient times. (2)
अदि॑त्सन्तं चिदाघृणे॒ पूष॒न्दाना॑य चोदय । प॒णेश्चि॒द्वि म्र॑दा॒ मनः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दीप्तिसंपन्न पूषा! दान न देने वाले को दान करने की प्रेरणा दो एवं पणि का मन भी मृदु बनाओ. (३)
EN English Translation
O bright god! Inspire the non-donor to donate and make the mind of the panaji also soft. (3)
वि प॒थो वाज॑सातये चिनु॒हि वि मृधो॑ जहि । साध॑न्तामुग्र नो॒ धियः॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे उग्र पूषा! अन्नलाभ के लिए सब रास्ते साफ करो, बाधकों को नष्ट करो एवं हमारा यज्ञकार्य पूरा करो. (४)
EN English Translation
O furious God! Clear all the way to the annalaam, destroy the obstacles and complete our yajna. (4)
परि॑ तृन्धि पणी॒नामार॑या॒ हृद॑या कवे । अथे॑म॒स्मभ्यं॑ रन्धय ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ज्ञानसंपन्न पूषा! लौहदंड द्वारा पणियों के हृदय घायल करो एवं उन्हें हमारे वश में करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O god of wisdom! Injure the hearts of the people with the iron rod and subdue them to us. (5)
वि पू॑ष॒न्नार॑या तुद प॒णेरि॑च्छ हृ॒दि प्रि॒यम् । अथे॑म॒स्मभ्यं॑ रन्धय ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पूषा! लौहदंड से पणि का हृदय घायल करो. उसके मन में दान की प्रिय इच्छा उत्पन्न करो एवं उसे हमारे वश में लाओ. (६)
EN English Translation
O God! Injure the heart of the panai with iron rod. Create in his heart a loving desire for charity and bring it into our control. (6)
आ रि॑ख किकि॒रा कृ॑णु पणी॒नां हृद॑या कवे । अथे॑म॒स्मभ्यं॑ रन्धय ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ज्ञानसंपन्न पूषा! पणियों के हृदयों पर चिहून बनाओ, उनके मन कोमल करो तथा उन्हें हमारे वश में लाओ. (७)
EN English Translation
O god of wisdom! Make a chihun on the hearts of the panais, soften their hearts, and bring them under our control. (7)
यां पू॑षन्ब्रह्म॒चोद॑नी॒मारां॒ बिभ॑र्ष्याघृणे । तया॑ समस्य॒ हृद॑य॒मा रि॑ख किकि॒रा कृ॑णु ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दीप्तिशाली पूषा! तुम अन्न की प्रेरणा करने वाला लौहदंड धारण करते हो. उससे सभी लोभियों के हृदयों पर निशान बनाओ एवं उन्हें कोमल करो. (८)
EN English Translation
O glorious God! You wear an iron rod that inspires food. Make a mark on the hearts of all the greedy ones from him and soften them. (8)
या ते॒ अष्ट्रा॒ गू॑प॒शाघृ॑णे पशु॒साध॑नी । तस्या॑स्ते सु॒म्नमी॑महे ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दीप्तिशाली पूषा! तुम्हारा जो लौहदंड गायों एवं पशुओं को चलाने वाला है, उसीसे हम सुख चाहते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O glorious God! We want happiness from your iron rod that drives cows and animals. (9)
उ॒त नो॑ गो॒षणिं॒ धिय॑मश्व॒सां वा॑ज॒सामु॒त । नृ॒वत्कृ॑णुहि वी॒तये॑ ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पूषा! हमारे उपभोग के निमित्त हमारे यज्ञ को गाय, घोड़ा, अन्न एवं सेवक देने वाला बनाओ. (१०)
EN English Translation
O God! Make our yajna a cow, horse, food and servant for our consumption. (10)
