य॒ज्ञस्य॒ हि स्थ ऋ॒त्विजा॒ सस्नी॒ वाजे॑षु॒ कर्म॑सु । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ तस्य॑ बोधतम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र व अग्नि! तुम शुद्ध एवं यज्ञ के ऋत्विज् हो. तुम युद्धों एवं यज्ञकमों में मेरी स्तुति समझो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Agni! You are pure and sacrificial. You understand my praise in wars and yagnakamas. (1)
तो॒शासा॑ रथ॒यावा॑ना वृत्र॒हणाप॑राजिता । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ तस्य॑ बोधतम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शन्रुनाशक, रथ द्वारा चलने वाले, वृत्रहंता एवं अपराजित इंद्र व अग्नि! मेरी स्तुतियों को जानो. (२)
EN English Translation
O shunrushakata, those who walk by the chariot, the vrithrahanta and the undefeated Indra and the agni! Know my praises. (2)
इ॒दं वां॑ मदि॒रं मध्वधु॑क्ष॒न्नद्रि॑भि॒र्नरः॑ । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ तस्य॑ बोधतम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र व अग्नि! यज्ञ के नेताओं ने तुम्हारे लिए पाषाणों की सहायता से मधुर सोमरस तैयार किया है. तुम मेरी स्तुति समझो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Agni! The leaders of the yajna have prepared a sweet somras for you with the help of stones. You understand my praise. (3)
जु॒षेथां॑ य॒ज्ञमि॒ष्टये॑ सु॒तं सोमं॑ सधस्तुती । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ आ ग॑तं नरा ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञ के नेता एवं समानरूप से स्तुत इंद्र व अग्नि! यज्ञ में सम्मिलित होओ एवं यज्ञ के निमित्त निचोड़े हुए सोमरस की ओर आओ. (४)
EN English Translation
O leader of the yajna and equally praise Indra and Agni! Join the yajna and come towards the squeezed somras for the sake of the yajna. (4)
इ॒मा जु॑षेथां॒ सव॑ना॒ येभि॑र्ह॒व्यान्यू॒हथुः॑ । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ आ ग॑तं नरा ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञ के नेता इंद्र व अग्नि! तुम जिन सवनों के द्वारा हव्य वहन करते हो, उन्हीं में सम्मिलित बनो. तुम यहां आओ. (५)
EN English Translation
O lord of the yajna, Indra and Agni! Join the suaves through which you carry the havan. You come here. (5)
इ॒मां गा॑य॒त्रव॑र्तनिं जु॒षेथां॑ सुष्टु॒तिं मम॑ । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ आ ग॑तं नरा ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञ के नेता इंद्र व अग्नि! तुम गायत्री छंद में निर्मित इस स्तुति को स्वीकार करो एवं यहां आओ. (६)
EN English Translation
O lord of the yajna, Indra and Agni! You accept this praise made in the Gayatri verse and come here. (6)
प्रा॒त॒र्याव॑भि॒रा ग॑तं दे॒वेभि॑र्जेन्यावसू । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ सोम॑पीतये ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुधन जीतने वाले इंद्र व अग्नि! तुम प्रातःकाल आने वाले देवों के साथ सोमरस पीने के लिए आओ. (७)
EN English Translation
O you who conquer the enemy, Indra and Agni! You come to drink somras with the gods who come in the morning. (7)
श्या॒वाश्व॑स्य सुन्व॒तोऽत्री॑णां शृणुतं॒ हव॑म् । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ सोम॑पीतये ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र और अग्नि! तुम सोमरस निचोड़ने वाले यजमान मुझ श्यावाश्व एवं मेरे ऋत्विज् अत्रि की पुकार सोमरस पीने के लिए सुनो. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Agni! You listen to the call of the host who squeezes the somras, me shyavash and my ritwiz attri to drink the somras. (8)
ए॒वा वा॑मह्व ऊ॒तये॒ यथाहु॑वन्त॒ मेधि॑राः । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ सोम॑पीतये ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र व अग्नि! तुम्हें पूर्वकाल में विद्वानों ने जिस प्रकार बुलाया था, उसी प्रकार मैं रक्षा एवं सोमपान के लिए तुम्हें बुलाता हूं. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Agni! Just as you were called by the scholars in the past, so I call you for protection and sompan. (9)
आहं सर॑स्वतीवतोरिन्द्रा॒ग्न्योरवो॑ वृणे । याभ्यां॑ गाय॒त्रमृ॒च्यते॑ ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं उन्हीं स्तुतिशाली इंद्र व अग्नि से अपनी रक्षा की प्रार्थना करता हूं, जिनके लिए गायत्री छंद वाले साममंत्र बोले जाते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
I pray for my protection from the same praiseworthy Indra and Agni, for whom the sammantras with Gayatri verses are spoken. (10)
