इन्द्रा॑ग्नी यु॒वं सु नः॒ सह॑न्ता॒ दास॑थो र॒यिम् । येन॑ दृ॒ळ्हा स॒मत्स्वा वी॒ळु चि॑त्साहिषी॒मह्य॒ग्निर्वने॑व॒ वात॒ इन्नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र व अग्नि! तुम शत्रुओं को हराते हुए हमें धन दो. अग्नि वायु की सहायता से जिस प्रकार वन को जलाते हैं, उसी प्रकार लोग अग्नि द्वारा दिए धन की सहायता से शत्रुओं को हराते हैं. अग्नि सभी शन्रुओं को मारें. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Agni! Give us money while defeating your enemies. Just as agni burns the forest with the help of air, in the same way people defeat the enemies with the help of money given by agni. Fire kills all the shanrus. (1)
न॒हि वां॑ व॒व्रया॑म॒हेऽथेन्द्र॒मिद्य॑जामहे॒ शवि॑ष्ठं नृ॒णां नर॑म् । स नः॑ क॒दा चि॒दर्व॑ता॒ गम॒दा वाज॑सातये॒ गम॒दा मे॒धसा॑तये॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र व अग्नि! हम तुमसे धन की याचना नहीं करते. हम तो सबके नेता एवं सबसे अधिक शक्तिशाली इंद्र का यज्ञ करते हैं. इंद्र कभी अन्न देने के लिए और कभी यज्ञ प्राप्त करने के लिए घोड़े पर चढ़कर आते हैं. इंद्र एवं अग्नि सभी शन्रुओं को मारें. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Agni! We don't ask you for money. We perform yajna of all the leaders and most powerful Indra. Indra sometimes comes on horseback to give food and sometimes to receive yajna. Let Indra and Agni kill all the shanrus. (2)
ता हि मध्यं॒ भरा॑णामिन्द्रा॒ग्नी अ॑धिक्षि॒तः । ता उ॑ कवित्व॒ना क॒वी पृ॒च्छ्यमा॑ना सखीय॒ते सं धी॒तम॑श्नुतं नरा॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
प्रसिद्ध इंद्र एवं अग्नि संग्रामों के बीच में निवास करते हैं. हे क्रांतदर्शी नेताओ! कविजनों द्वारा पूछने पर तुम्हीं मित्रता के इच्छुक यजमान द्वारा किए हुए यज्ञकर्म की व्याख्या करते हो. इंद्र एवं अग्नि सभी शत्रुओं का नाश करें. (३)
EN English Translation
Reside in the midst of the famous Indra and Agni Sangrams. O revolutionary leaders! When asked by the poets, you explain the yajnakarma performed by the host who wants to be friendly. May Indra and Agni destroy all enemies. (3)
अ॒भ्य॑र्च नभाक॒वदि॑न्द्रा॒ग्नी य॒जसा॑ गि॒रा । ययो॒र्विश्व॑मि॒दं जग॑दि॒यं द्यौः पृ॑थि॒वी म॒ह्यु१॒॑पस्थे॑ बिभृ॒तो वसु॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नाभाक! यज्ञ और स्तुति के द्वारा इंद्र और अग्नि की पूजा करो. इन्हीं में सारा संसार स्थित है और इन्हीं की गोद में द्युलोक एवं विशाल धरती धन धारण करते हैं. ये दोनों सभी शन्रुओं को नष्ट करें. (४)
EN English Translation
O nabhak! Worship Indra and Agni through yajna and praise. In these the whole world is located and in their lap the world and the vast earth hold wealth. These two destroy all the nerves. (4)
प्र ब्रह्मा॑णि नभाक॒वदि॑न्द्रा॒ग्निभ्या॑मिरज्यत । या स॒प्तबु॑ध्नमर्ण॒वं जि॒ह्मबा॑रमपोर्णु॒त इन्द्र॒ ईशा॑न॒ ओज॑सा॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
नाभाक जैसे ऋषि इंद्र एवं अग्नि की स्तुति करते हैं. वे दोनों सात जड़ों एवं बंद द्वारों वाले सागर को अपने तेज द्वारा ढक लेते हैं. इंद्र अपने तेज के कारण सबके स्वामी हैं. इंद्र एवं अग्नि सभी शत्रुओं को मारें. (५)
EN English Translation
Sages like Nabhak praise Indra and Agni. They both cover the sea with seven roots and closed doors with their own speed. Indra is the master of everyone because of his speed. Let Indra and Agni kill all the enemies. (5)
अपि॑ वृश्च पुराण॒वद्व्र॒तते॑रिव गुष्पि॒तमोजो॑ दा॒सस्य॑ दम्भय । व॒यं तद॑स्य॒ सम्भृ॑तं॒ वस्विन्द्रे॑ण॒ वि भ॑जेमहि॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! पुराना मनुष्य जैसे लता की बाहर निकली हुई शाखा को काटता है, उसी प्रकार बुम हमारे शत्रुओं को काटो एवं दास नामक राक्षस का विनाश करो. हम इंद्र की कृपा से दास द्वारा एकत्रित धन का भोग करेंगे. इंद्र और अग्नि हमारे सभी शत्रुओं को मारें. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Just as the old man cuts the outstretched branch of the creeper, so bum cut off our enemies and destroy the rakshas called Das. We will enjoy the wealth collected by the dasa by the grace of Indra. Let Indra and Agni kill all our enemies. (6)
यदि॑न्द्रा॒ग्नी जना॑ इ॒मे वि॒ह्वय॑न्ते॒ तना॑ गि॒रा । अ॒स्माके॑भि॒र्नृभि॑र्व॒यं सा॑स॒ह्याम॑ पृतन्य॒तो व॑नु॒याम॑ वनुष्य॒तो नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो लोग धन और स्तुतियों द्वारा इंद्र तथा अग्नि को बुलाते हैं, उनके मध्य हम नाभाकगोत्रीय लोग सेवा की इच्छा करते हुए अपने लोगों को साथ लेकर शत्रुओं को पराजित करेंगे एवं स्तुति करने वालों को अपनाएंगे. इंद्र और अग्नि सभी शत्रुओं को नष्ट करें. (७)
EN English Translation
Among those who call upon Indra and Agni by money and praise, we, the people of Nabhakgotri, who wish to serve, will take our people along with them and defeat the enemies and adopt those who praise them. Let Indra and Agni destroy all enemies. (7)
या नु श्वे॒ताव॒वो दि॒व उ॒च्चरा॑त॒ उप॒ द्युभिः॑ । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्न्योरनु॑ व्र॒तमुहा॑ना यन्ति॒ सिन्ध॑वो॒ यान्सीं॑ ब॒न्धादमु॑ञ्चतां॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो श्वेत वर्ण के इंद्र एवं अग्नि अपनी दीप्ति द्वारा नीचे से द्युलोक से ऊपर जाते हैं, उन्हीं के यज्ञकर्म को अनुष्ठान करते हुए यजमान हव्य धारण करते हैं. उन्होंने नदियों को बंधन से छुड़ाया था. वे सभी शत्रुओं को मारें. (८)
EN English Translation
The white-colored Indra and Agni, who go above the dolok from the bottom through their brightness, perform the yajnakarma of their yajnakarma and the host holds the havan. They had freed the rivers from bondage. They kill all the enemies. (8)
पू॒र्वीष्ट॑ इ॒न्द्रोप॑मातयः पू॒र्वीरु॒त प्रश॑स्तयः॒ सूनो॑ हि॒न्वस्य॑ हरिवः । वस्वो॑ वी॒रस्या॒पृचो॒ या नु साध॑न्त नो॒ धियो॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरि नामक घोड़ों वाले, प्रेरणाकर्ता, प्रसन्न करने वाले, वीर एवं धनी इंद्र! तुम्हारी समानता करने वाली बहुत सी वस्तुएं हैं. तुम्हारी प्राचीन स्तुतियां हमारी बुद्धि को पूर्ण करें. इंद्र एवं अग्नि सभी शत्रुओं को नष्ट करें. (९)
EN English Translation
O Hari, the horse-horse, the inspiration, the one who pleases, the heroic and the rich Indra! There are many things that make you similar. May your ancient praises complete our wisdom. May Indra and Agni destroy all enemies. (9)
तं शि॑शीता सुवृ॒क्तिभि॑स्त्वे॒षं सत्वा॑नमृ॒ग्मिय॑म् । उ॒तो नु चि॒द्य ओज॑सा॒ शुष्ण॑स्या॒ण्डानि॒ भेद॑ति॒ जेष॒त्स्व॑र्वतीर॒पो नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोताओ! दीप्त, धन देने वाले व ऋकू मंत्रों के योग्य इंद्र का संस्कार शोभन-स्तुतियों द्वारा करो. अपनी शक्ति द्वारा शुष्ण असुर की संतान का नाश करने वाले इंद्र स्वर्ग का जल जीतते हैं. इंद्र एवं अग्नि सभी शत्रुओं को मारें. (१०)
EN English Translation
O stotao! Perform the rites of Indra, who are worthy of deep, wealth-giving and riku mantras, through grace and praise. Indra, who destroys the child of a dry asura with his power, wins the water of heaven. May Indra and Agni kill all enemies. (10)
तं शि॑शीता स्वध्व॒रं स॒त्यं सत्वा॑नमृ॒त्विय॑म् । उ॒तो नु चि॒द्य ओह॑त आ॒ण्डा शुष्ण॑स्य॒ भेद॒त्यजैः॒ स्व॑र्वतीर॒पो नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोताओ! शोभन-यज्ञ वाले विनाशरहित, धनसंपन्न एवं ऋतु.ओं के अनुकूल यज्ञ का संस्कार स्तुतियों द्वारा करो. यज्ञ के अभिमुख जाने वाले इंद्र शुष्ण असुर की संतान को मारते हैं एवं स्वर्ग का जल जीतते हैं. इंद्र एवं अग्नि सभी शत्रुओं को मारें. (११)
EN English Translation
O stotao! Perform the rituals of the yajna without destruction, wealth and according to the seasons of shobhan-yajna with praise. Indra, who goes towards the yajna, kills the child of the dry asura and wins the water of heaven. May Indra and Agni kill all enemies. (11)
ए॒वेन्द्रा॒ग्निभ्यां॑ पितृ॒वन्नवी॑यो मन्धातृ॒वद॑ङ्गिर॒स्वद॑वाचि । त्रि॒धातु॑ना॒ शर्म॑णा पातम॒स्मान्व॒यं स्या॑म॒ पत॑यो रयी॒णाम् ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैंने अपने पिता मांधाता एवं अंगिरा ऋषि के समान नवीन स्तुतियों को बोला है. वे तीन कमरों वाले मकान को देकर हमारी रक्षा करें. हम धनों के स्वामी हों. (१२)
EN English Translation
I have spoken new hymns like my father Mandhata and Sage Angira. They protect us by giving us a three-room house. We are the masters of wealth. (12)
