उदी॑राथामृताय॒ते यु॒ञ्जाथा॑मश्विना॒ रथ॑म् । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (१)

अश्चिनीकुमारो! यज्ञ की अभिलाषा करने वाले मेरे लिए उन्नत बनो एवं यज्ञ में आने के लिए रथ में घोड़े जोड़ो. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे समीप रहे. (१)
EN English Translation
Aschinikumaro! Be elevated to me who wish for the yajna and add horses to the chariot to come to the yajna. May your defense be near us. (1)
नि॒मिष॑श्चि॒ज्जवी॑यसा॒ रथे॒ना या॑तमश्विना । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (२)

हे अश्विनीकुमारो! आंखों के निमेष से भी अधिक गतिशील रथ द्वारा हमारे यज्ञ में आओ. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे समीप रहे. (२)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Come to our yagna by a chariot more moving than the appearance of the eyes. May your defense be near us. (2)
उप॑ स्तृणीत॒मत्र॑ये हि॒मेन॑ घ॒र्मम॑श्विना । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (३)

हे अश्विनीकुमारो! असुरों द्वारा अग्नि में फेंके हुए अत्रि ऋषि की जलन दूर करने के लिए जल छिड़को. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे समीप रहे. (३)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Sprinkle water to remove the irritation of the sage Atri thrown into the agni by the asuras. May your defense be near us. (3)
कुह॑ स्थः॒ कुह॑ जग्मथुः॒ कुह॑ श्ये॒नेव॑ पेतथुः । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम कहां हो, कहां जाते हो और बाज के समान कहां गिरते हो? तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे समीप रहे. (४)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Where are you, where do you go, and where do you fall like a hawk? May your defense be near us. (4)
यद॒द्य कर्हि॒ कर्हि॑ चिच्छुश्रू॒यात॑मि॒मं हव॑म् । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (५)

हे अश्विनीकुमारो! हमें यह पता नहीं है कि आज तुम कहां और कब हमारी पुकार सुनोगे? तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे पास रहे. (५)

O Ashwinikumaro! We don't know where and when you will hear our call today. Your defenses stay with us. (5)
अ॒श्विना॑ याम॒हूत॑मा॒ नेदि॑ष्ठं या॒म्याप्य॑म् । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं उचित समय पर बुलाने योग्य अश्चिनीकुमारों एवं उनके समीपवर्ती बंधुओं के पास जाता हूं. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे पास रहे. (६)
EN English Translation
I go to the ashchinikumaras and their immediate brothers who are called at the appropriate time. Your defenses stay with us. (6)
अव॑न्त॒मत्र॑ये गृ॒हं कृ॑णु॒तं यु॒वम॑श्विना । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (७)

हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुमने अत्रि की रक्षा के लिए घर बनाया था. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे समीप रहे. (७)

O aschinikumaro! You built a house to protect Atri. May your defense be near us. (7)
वरे॑थे अ॒ग्निमा॒तपो॒ वद॑ते व॒ल्ग्वत्र॑ये । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (८)

हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! मनोहर स्तुति करने वाले की उष्णता से रक्षा करो. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे समीप रहे. (८)

O aschinikumaro! Protect the one who praises the charming praise from the heat. May your defense be near us. (8)
प्र स॒प्तव॑ध्रिरा॒शसा॒ धारा॑म॒ग्नेर॑शायत । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महर्षि सप्तवभ्रि ने तुम अश्विनीकुमारों की स्तुति करके अग्नि को मंजूषा से निकालकर पुनः उसीमें सुला दिया था. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे पास रहे. (९)
EN English Translation
Maharishi Saptavbhri praised you Ashwinikumars and took agni out of Manjusha and put it back to sleep in it. Your defenses stay with us. (9)
इ॒हा ग॑तं वृषण्वसू शृणु॒तं म॑ इ॒मं हव॑म् । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (१०)

हे वर्षाकारक तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे पास किमिदं वां पुराणवज्जरतोरिव हे अश्विनीकुमारो है? तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे एवं धनसंपन्न अश्विनीकुमारो! यहां आओ और हमारी पुकार सुनो. स रहे. (१०)

किमि॒दं वां॑ पुराण॒वज्जर॑तोरिव शस्यते । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (११)

रो! तुम्हें पुराने एवं बुड्ढे व्यक्ति के समान बार-बार क्यों बुलाना पड़ता रे साथ रहे. (११)

Weep! Why do you have to be called again and again like an old and old person? (11)
स॒मा॒नं वां॑ सजा॒त्यं॑ समा॒नो बन्धु॑रश्विना । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (१२)

हे अश्चिनीकुमारो रो! तुम्हारे जन्म एवं बंधु समान हैं. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे पास रहे. (१२)

यो वां॒ रजां॑स्यश्विना॒ रथो॑ वि॒याति॒ रोद॑सी । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (१३)

मा नो॒ गव्ये॑भि॒रश्व्यैः॑ स॒हस्रे॑भि॒रति॑ ख्यतम् । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (१५)

हे अश्विनीकुमारो! हजारों गायों एवं अश्वों को हमसे दूर मत करना. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे पास रहे. (१५)

O Ashwinikumaro! Don't take thousands of cows and horses away from us. Your defenses stay with us. (15)
अ॒रु॒णप्सु॑रु॒षा अ॑भू॒दक॒र्ज्योति॑रृ॒ताव॑री । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (१६)

हे अश्विनीकुमारो! श्वेत वर्ण वाली उषा प्रकाश फैलाती हुई सब जगह जाती है. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे पास रहे. (१६)

O Ashwinikumaro! The white-colored Usha goes everywhere spreading the light. Your defenses stay with us. (16)
अ॒श्विना॒ सु वि॒चाक॑शद्वृ॒क्षं प॑रशु॒माँ इ॑व । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! जिस प्रकार लकड़हारा कुल्हाड़ी से पेड़ काटता है, उसी प्रकार अग्नि अंधकार को मिटाते हैं. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे पास रहे. (१७)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Just as the woodcutter cuts a tree with an axe, so agni erases the darkness. Your defenses stay with us. (17)
पुरं॒ न धृ॑ष्ण॒वा रु॑ज कृ॒ष्णया॑ बाधि॒तो वि॒शा । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुओं को दबाने वाले ऋषि सप्तर्वध्रि! तुम काले संदूक में बंद थे. बाद में अश्विनीकुमारों की कृपा से तुमने बाहर निकल कर उसे जला दिया था. अश्विनीकुमारों की रक्षा हमारे पास रहे. (१८)
EN English Translation
O sage Saptarvadhri who suppresses enemies! You were locked in the black ark. Later, by the grace of the Ashwinikumars, you went out and burned it. The defence of the Ashwinikumars remained with us. (18)
