? The Common Claim

"Many people claim that Shiv and Vishnu are completely different gods, rival deities from folklore and cultural stories. In hese stories Shiv is seen as the ascetic destroyer and Vishnu as protector, so people pass the statement that Shiv and Vishnu are opposite forces. "

The Actual Truth
The original secret text explains that shiv and vishnu earth actually two different aspects of the one exact same ultimate reality. They are complete dependent on one another much like water and ice or two sides of single coin. There is present different functions of the same cosmic energy , rather than a separate beings. To show this truth visually ancient tradition created a form of harihara , a single deity that is half Shiva and half Vishu.

Detailed Investigation

The apparent separation between Shive  and Vishnu comes from a literal reading of systematic stories and historical arguments between different groups of worshipers. When we look at the deeper philosophy idea of rivalry completely disappears into beautifully coordinated cosmic system.

The universe naturally goes through cycles of creation, preservation and transformation, which requires division of labour. Vishnu takes one the role of the protector who maintain order morality and balance in the world. He intervenes whenever the chaos threatens the universe on other hand shiva takes. On the role of transformer who dissolves things when they became old , corrupt and stagnant. This destruction is not angery or evil. It is a necessary part of a life cycle that clears the way for a fresh nucation. For example, an old seed must break apart and dissolve for a new tree to grow. Because of this deep connection, the protector needs transformation to happen so the universe doesn't freeze in a place, the transformer acts out of the love and reset the cosmic balance. They are simply the same divine power wearing different uniforms to do different essential jobs.

To help people understand this unity visually Hinduism introduced composite forms of "Harihara". In speculates and paintings of Harihara, a single body in split right down the middle to the contrast and combined two ways of life. The right half shows Shiv and left half to Vishnu. By placing 2 opposite lifestyles in a single physical form, the tradition teaches that the simple Yogi, who lives the world behind and a grand king who rules the world, are actually driven by the exact same underlying spirit.

Furthermore, the great epic story is shown. The Shiva and Vishnu do not exist in isolation. They constantly love, protect and worship one another. In the Ramayan, lord Ram , who is a human avatar of vishnu , builds and blesses a temple to worship Shiv before going to his final battle. In other holy text, Shiv is called greatest devotee of Vishnu, spending his time meditating on Vishnu's name, while Vishnu is described as the very heart of Shiv. When Vishnu descends to Earth to fight evil, Shiv often manifest as well to help him, such as when shiva took the form of Hanuman to serve Lord Ram. They do not compete for power,  because they recognize themselves in each other , showing the true divinity in a state of absolute harmony.
