सं पू॑ष॒न्नध्व॑नस्तिर॒ व्यंहो॑ विमुचो नपात् । सक्ष्वा॑ देव॒ प्र ण॑स्पु॒रः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पूषा! हमें मार्ग के पार लगा दो. पाप विघ्नों का कारण है, तुम उसे नष्ट करो. हे जलवर्षक मेघ के पुत्र! हमारे आगे चलो. (१)
EN English Translation
O God! Put us across the path. Sin is the cause of obstacles, you destroy it. O son of the water-year-old cloud! Come ahead of us. (1)
यो नः॑ पूषन्न॒घो वृको॑ दुः॒शेव॑ आ॒दिदे॑शति । अप॑ स्म॒ तं प॒थो ज॑हि ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पूषा! यदि कोई आक्रमणकारी, धन अपहरण करने वाला एवं दुष्ट शन्रु हमें गलत रास्ता दिखाता है तो उसे हमारे मार्ग से हटा दो. (२)
EN English Translation
O God! If an invader, a money-grabber and a wicked person shows us the wrong way, remove him from our path. (2)
अप॒ त्यं प॑रिप॒न्थिनं॑ मुषी॒वाणं॑ हुर॒श्चित॑म् । दू॒रमधि॑ स्रु॒तेर॑ज ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
तुम हमारा रास्ता रोकने वाले चोर एवं कुटिल व्यक्ति को हमारे मार्ग से दूर भगा दो. (३)
EN English Translation
Drive away the thief and the crooked person who is blocking our way away from our path. (3)
त्वं तस्य॑ द्वया॒विनो॒ऽघशं॑सस्य॒ कस्य॑ चित् । प॒दाभि ति॑ष्ठ॒ तपु॑षिम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देव! हमारे सामने और पीठ पीछे दोनों प्रकार से हमारा धन हरण करने वाले अनिष्टसाधक चोर के परपीड़क शरीर को अपने पैरों से कुचल दो. (४)
EN English Translation
Oh, Dev! Crush with your feet the sadistic body of the evil thief who has taken away our wealth both in front of us and behind our backs. (4)
आ तत्ते॑ दस्र मन्तुमः॒ पूष॒न्नवो॑ वृणीमहे । येन॑ पि॒तॄनचो॑दयः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ज्ञानसंपन्न एवं शत्रुनाशक पूषा! तुमने जिस रक्षाशक्ति से अंगिरा आदि पूर्वजों को प्रेरित किया था, हम तुम्हारी उसी शक्ति की प्रार्थना करते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O god of wisdom and enemies! We pray for the same power of defence with which you inspired the ancestors of Angira etc. (5)
अधा॑ नो विश्वसौभग॒ हिर॑ण्यवाशीमत्तम । धना॑नि सु॒षणा॑ कृधि ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सर्वसंपत्तिशाली एवं सुवर्णमय आयुधों वाले पूषा! हमारी प्रार्थना के पश्चात् हमें भांति-भांति का धन देना. (६)
EN English Translation
O god with all-powerful and well-to-do ordnance! Give us all kinds of money after our prayers. (6)
अति॑ नः स॒श्चतो॑ नय सु॒गा नः॑ सु॒पथा॑ कृणु । पूष॑न्नि॒ह क्रतुं॑ विदः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमें बाधा पहुंचाने के लिए आए हुए शत्रुओं से हमें दूर ले जाओ. हमारा मार्ग सुगम और शोभन बनाओ. हे पूषा! इस मार्ग में हमारी रक्षा का उत्तरदायित्व तुम्हारा है. (७)
EN English Translation
Take us away from the enemies who have come to hinder us. Make our path smooth and smooth. O God! It is your responsibility to protect us in this path. (7)
अ॒भि सू॒यव॑सं नय॒ न न॑वज्वा॒रो अध्व॑ने । पूष॑न्नि॒ह क्रतुं॑ विदः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
तुम हमें घास वाले सुंदर देश में ले जाओ. हमें मार्ग में कोई नया कष्ट न हो. हे पूषा! इस मार्ग में हमारी रक्षा के विषय में तुम्हीं जानते हो. (८)
EN English Translation
You take us to the beautiful grassy land. Let us not have any new trouble on the way. O God! You know about protecting us in this path. (8)
श॒ग्धि पू॒र्धि प्र यं॑सि च शिशी॒हि प्रास्यु॒दर॑म् । पूष॑न्नि॒ह क्रतुं॑ विदः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पूषा! हम पर अनुग्रह करके हमारे घरों को धनधान्य से भर दो, हमें अन्य इच्छित वस्तुएं देकर परम तेजस्वी बनाओ एवं उत्तम अन्न से हमारी उदरपूर्ति करो. हे पूषा! इस मार्ग में हमारी रक्षा का उपाय तुम्हें ही करना है. (९)
EN English Translation
O God! By giving us grace, fill our houses with wealth, give us other things you want and make us the most glorious and supply our stomach with the best food. O God! The solution to protect us in this path is to do with you. (9)
न पू॒षणं॑ मेथामसि सू॒क्तैर॒भि गृ॑णीमसि । वसू॑नि द॒स्ममी॑महे ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम पूषा की निंदा नहीं करते, अपितु सूक्तों से उनकी स्तुति करते हैं. हम दर्शनीय पूषा से धन की याचना करते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
We do not condemn The Pusha, but praise Him with suktas. We ask for money from the visible god. (10)
