पिसे हुए गेहूं में दूध मिला कर तैयार किया हुआ ओदन रूप चरु इस कर्म में अस्थियों के समीप पश्चिम दिशा में रखा रहे. इस संस्कार को प्राप्त हुए प्रेत के लिए स्वर्ग के निर्माता इंद्र आदि देवों में से इस हवि के अधिकारी यहां वर्तमान देवों को मैं प्रसन्न करता हूं. (१६)
