पिसे हुए गेहूं तथा दही मिले हुए ओदन रूप चरु इस कर्म में अस्थियों के समीप पश्चिम दिशा में स्थित रहे. इस संस्कार को प्राप्त हुए प्रेत के लिए स्वर्ग का निर्माण करने वाले इंद्र आदि देवताओं में से इस हवि के अधिकारी यहां वर्तमान देवताओं को हम प्रसन्न करते रहें. (१७)
EN English Translation
The odan form charu mixed with ground wheat and curd remained located in the west direction near the bones in this karma. Out of the gods like Indra etc., who created heaven for the ghosts received this sacrament, we should continue to please the current gods here. (17)
