पिसे हुए गेहूं के पूओं से युक्त, अन्न से मिश्रित पवन का ओदन रस यह चरु इस यज्ञ कार्य में पश्चिम दिशा में स्थित रहे. जिस प्रेत का संस्कार किया जा रहा है, उस के लिए स्वर्ग का निर्माण करने वाले इंद्र आदि देवताओं में से इस हवि के जो देवता यहां वर्तमान हैं, हम उन्हें प्रसन्न करते हैं. (२१)
EN English Translation
This charu, containing powdered wheat pus, mixed with food mixed with wind, was located in the west direction in this yajna work. We please the deities of this havi, who are present here, among the gods like Indra, who created heaven for the ghost that is being cremated. (21)
