पिसे हुए गेहूं के पूओं से युक्त और शहद मिले हुए कुंभी पक्व भात रूप चरु इस कार्य में अस्थियों के पश्चिम भाग में रखा रहे. जिस का संस्कार किया जा रहा है उस प्रेत के लिए स्वर्ग का निर्माण करने वाले इंद्र आदि देवताओं में से इस हवि के अधिकारी जो देवता यहां विद्यमान हैं, हम उन का स्वागत करते हैं. (२२)

Anghabi pakva bhaat roop charu containing ground wheat beans and mixed with honey should be kept in the western part of the bones in this work. We welcome the deities who are present here from indra etc. who have created heaven for the ghost who is being cremated. (22)
