यदि॑न्द्रा॒हं यथा॒ त्वमीशी॑य॒ वस्व॒ एक॒ इत् । स्तो॒ता मे॒ गोष॑खा स्यात् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम ऐश्वर्यवान हो. जिस प्रकार तुम देवों में श्रेष्ठ तथा धनों के स्वामी हो, उसी प्रकार मैं भी धन का स्वामी बनूं. जिस प्रकार तुम्हारी स्तुति करने वाला गायों का मित्र हो जाता है, उसी प्रकार मेरी प्रशंसा करने वाला भी गौ आदि धन प्राप्त करे. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are opulent. Just as you are the best among the gods and the master of wealth, so should I also become the master of wealth. Just as the one who praises you becomes a friend of cows, so should anyone who praises me also get wealth like cow etc. (1)
शिक्षे॑यमस्मै॒ दित्से॑यं॒ शची॑पते मनी॒षिणे॑ । यद॒हं गोप॑तिः॒ स्याम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शचीपति इंद्र! जब तुम्हारी कृपा से मैं गायों से संपन्न हो जाऊंगा, तब इस स्तुति करने वाले विद्वान् को धन देने की इच्छा करता हुआ इसे धन दे सकूंगा. (२)
EN English Translation
This is Shakhipati Indra! When by your grace I am endowed with cows, I will be able to give money to this praising scholar, wishing to give him money. (2)
धे॒नुष्ट॑ इन्द्र सू॒नृता॒ यज॑मानाय सुन्व॒ते । गामश्वं॑ पि॒प्युषी॑ दुहे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमारी सच्ची स्तुति तुम्हें उसी प्रकार तृप्त करे, जिस प्रकार गाएं लोगों को अपने दूध से तृप्त करती हैं. यह स्तुति सोम का संस्कार करने वाले यजमान की वृद्धि करे. यह स्तुति गौ आदि अभीष्ट पदार्थो को प्रदान करती है. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! May our true praise satisfy you in the same way that cows satisfy people with their milk. May this praise increase the host who performs the rites of Soma. This praise provides cow etc. to the desired substances. (3)
न ते॑ व॒र्तास्ति॒ राध॑स॒ इन्द्र॑ दे॒वो न मर्त्यः॑ । यद्दित्स॑सि स्तु॒तो म॒घम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारे धन को कोई रोक नहीं सकता. देवगण तुम्हारे धन को अन्यथा नहीं कर सकते तथा मनुष्य तुम्हारे धन को मिटाने में समर्थ नहीं हैं. हमारी स्तुति से प्रसन्न हो कर तुम यदि हम को धन देना चाहो, उस धन को कोई नष्ट नहीं कर सकता. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! No one can stop your money. Devas cannot do your wealth otherwise and human beings are not able to erase your wealth. Pleased with our praise, if you want to give money to us, no one can destroy that wealth. (4)
य॒ज्ञ इन्द्र॑मवर्धय॒द्यद्भूमिं॒ व्य॑वर्तयत् । च॑क्रा॒ण ओ॑प॒शं दि॒वि ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो इंद्र आकाश में मेघ को विस्तृत करते हैं तथा वर्षा के जल से धरती को गीला करते हैं, वे ही वर्षा के जल से भूमि के धान्यों को पुष्ट बनाते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
Indra, who expands the cloud in the sky and wets the earth with rainwater, only makes the grains of the land strong with rainwater. (5)
वा॑वृधा॒नस्य॑ ते व॒यं विश्वा॒ धना॑नि जि॒ग्युषः॑ । ऊ॒तिमि॒न्द्रा वृ॑णीमहे ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम स्तुतियों से वृद्धि प्राप्त करते हो. हम तुम्हारी उस शक्ति का वरण करते हैं, जो शत्रु के धनां को जीतने वाली और हमारी रक्षा करने वाली है. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You receive growth from praise. We choose your power, which is going to conquer the enemy's wealth and protect us. (6)
