गाड़ी ढोने में समर्थ बैल हल जोतने आदि के कारण पृथ्वी का पोषक है. वही बैल चरु, पुरोडाश आदि की उत्पत्ति में सहायक होने के कारण आकाश और अंतरिक्ष को भी धारण करता है. पूर्व आदि महा दिशाओं का पोषण कर्ता भी यही धर्म रूपी बैल है. इस प्रकार ब्रह्मा द्वारा बनाया गया यह बैल पृथ्वी आदि सभी लोकों की रक्षा के लिए उन में प्रवेश कर के स्थित रहता है.
