हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो क्षत्ता अर्थात् इच्छित कार्य करने वाले का आह्वान करता है, वह श्रुति को ही सुनाता है. (१)
EN English Translation
The one who invokes the person who does the desired work, he narrates it to Shruti. (1)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो प्रतिज्ञा करता है, वही श्रुति को सुनाने का आग्रह करता है. (२)
EN English Translation
The one who makes the pledge urges Shruti to recite. (2)
यत्प॑रिवे॒ष्टारः॒ पात्र॑हस्ताः॒ पूर्वे॒ चाप॑रे च प्र॒पद्य॑न्ते चम॒साध्व॑र्यव ए॒व ते ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हाथों में पात्र लिए जो परोसने वाले आगेपीछे चलते हैं, वे ही यज्ञ के चमस और अध्वर्यु हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
The servings who walk behind with utensils in their hands are the chamas and adhwaryu of the yajna. (3)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
उन अतिथियों में कोई भी ऐसा नहीं है जो होता अर्थात् हवन करने वाला न हो. (४)
EN English Translation
There is no one among those guests who is not going to perform havan. (4)
यद्वा अति॑थिपति॒रति॑थीन्परि॒विष्य॑ गृ॒हानु॑पो॒दैत्य॑व॒भृथ॑मे॒व तदु॒पावै॑ति ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो अतिथि सत्कार कर्ता अतिथियों को भोजन परोस कर घरों में आता है, वह यज्ञ के पश्चात होने वाले अवभृथ स्नान का फल प्राप्त करता है. (५)
EN English Translation
The guest who comes to the houses after serving food to the guests, he gets the fruits of the abbhrith bath after the yajna. (5)
यत्स॑भा॒गय॑ति॒ दक्षि॑णाः सभागयति॒ यद॑नु॒तिष्ठ॑त उ॒दव॑स्यत्ये॒व तत् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो यजमान भोज्य पदार्थो को अलगअलग करता हुआ तथा दक्षिणा देता हुआ अनुष्ठान करता है, वह उदवास करता है. (६)
EN English Translation
The host who performs the ritual separating the food items and giving dakshina, he exudes. (6)
स उप॑हूतः पृथि॒व्यां भ॑क्षय॒त्युप॑हूत॒स्तस्मि॒न्यत्पृ॑थि॒व्यां वि॒श्वरू॑पम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वह बुला कर पृथ्वी के समस्त प्राणियों को भोजन कराता है, उस अतिथि सत्कार में मानो विश्वरूप ही बुलाए जाते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
He calls and feeds all the creatures of the earth, in that hospitality, it is as if the world forms are called. (7)
स उप॑हूतो॒ऽन्तरि॑क्षे भक्षय॒त्युप॑हूत॒स्तस्मि॒न्यद॒न्तरि॑क्षे वि॒श्वरू॑पम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वह बुलाने पर स्वर्ग में भोजन करता है. अंतरिक्ष में जो विश्वरूप है, वह उस के यहां बुलाया जाता है. (८)
EN English Translation
He eats in heaven when called. The world form in space is called to him. (8)
स उप॑हूतो दि॒वि भ॑क्षय॒त्युप॑हूत॒स्तस्मि॒न्यद्दि॒वि वि॒श्वरू॑पम् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वह बुलाए जाने पर स्वर्ग में भक्षण करता है. स्वर्ग में जो विश्वरूप है, उस में वह बुलाया जाता है. (९)
EN English Translation
He eats in heaven when called. He is called in the world form in heaven. (9)
स उप॑हूतो दे॒वेषु॑ भक्षय॒त्युप॑हूत॒स्तस्मि॒न्यद्दे॒वेषु॑ वि॒श्वरू॑पम् ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वह बुलाए जाने पर देवों के मध्य भोजन करता है. देवों में जो विश्वरूप है, उस में वह बुलाया जाता है. (१०)
EN English Translation
He eats among the devas when called. He is called in the world form among the gods. (10)
स उप॑हूतो लो॒केषु॑ भक्षय॒त्युप॑हूत॒स्तस्मि॒न्यल्लो॒केषु॑ विश्वरू॑पम् ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वह बुलाया गया लोकों में भोजन करता है. लोकों में जो विश्वरूप है, उस में वह बुलाया जाता है. (११)

He eats in the called worlds. He is called in the world form in the world. (11)

वह इस लोक और परलोक दोनों में आदर से बुलाया जाता है. (१२)

He is respectfully called in both this world and the hereafter. (12)

He attains this world and the hereafter. (13)
