ए॒षो उ॒षा अपू॑र्व्या॒ व्यु॑च्छति प्रि॒या दि॒वः । स्तु॒षे वा॑मश्विना बृ॒हत् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यह प्रिय उषा मध्य रात्रि आदि पूर्व कालों में वर्तमान नहीं थी. यह इसी समय आकाश से आकर अंधकार मिटाती है. हे अश्विनीकुमारो! मैं तुम्हारी बहुत स्तुति करता हूं. (१)
EN English Translation
This dear Usha was not present in the earlier periods of midnight etc. It comes from the sky at this time and removes the darkness. O Ashwinikumaro! I praise you very much. (1)
या द॒स्रा सिन्धु॑मातरा मनो॒तरा॑ रयी॒णाम् । धि॒या दे॒वा व॑सु॒विदा॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं दर्शनीय एवं समुद्रपुत्र अश्विनीकुमारों की स्तुति करता हूं. वे शोभन संपत्ति देते हैं और यज्ञ करने पर हमें निवासस्थान प्रदान करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
I praise the sighted and sea-son Ashwinikumars. They give shobhan property and give us residence when we perform yajna. (2)
व॒च्यन्ते॑ वां ककु॒हासो॑ जू॒र्णाया॒मधि॑ वि॒ष्टपि॑ । यद्वां॒ रथो॒ विभि॒ष्पता॑त् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! जिस समय तुम्हारा रथ विविध शास्त्रों द्वारा प्रशंसित स्वर्ग में घोड़ों द्वारा खींचा जाता है, उसी समय हम तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! At the same time when your chariot is pulled by horses in heaven admired by various scriptures, we praise you. (3)
ह॒विषा॑ जा॒रो अ॒पां पिप॑र्ति॒ पपु॑रिर्नरा । पि॒ता कुट॑स्य चर्ष॒णिः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नेता रूप अश्चिनीकुमारो! दयापूर्ण स्वभाव, पालक, यज्ञकर्म के दर्शक एवं अपने ताप से जल को सुखाने वाले सविता हमारे द्वारा हव्य से देवों को प्रसन्न करें. (४)
EN English Translation
O leader as Ashchinikumaro! May savita, who has a compassionate nature, a guardian, a spectator of yajnakarma and who dries up the water with her heat, please the gods with our heart. (4)
आ॒दा॒रो वां॑ मती॒नां नास॑त्या मतवचसा । पा॒तं सोम॑स्य धृष्णु॒या ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुति ग्रहण करने वाले नासत्यो! बुद्धिप्रेरक एवं तीव्र मदकारक सोमरस को पिओ. (५)
EN English Translation
O nastyos who receive praise! Drink the somras, the instigator and the intensely intoxicating somras. (5)
या नः॒ पीप॑रदश्विना॒ ज्योति॑ष्मती॒ तम॑स्ति॒रः । ताम॒स्मे रा॑साथा॒मिष॑म् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! हमें इस वीर्य आदि ज्योति से युक्त अन्न दो. वह अन्न दरिद्रता रूपी अंधकार को मिटाकर तृप्ति प्रदान करता है. (६)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Give us the grain containing this semen etc. light. That food provides satiety by removing the darkness of poverty. (6)
आ नो॑ ना॒वा म॑ती॒नां या॒तं पा॒राय॒ गन्त॑वे । यु॒ञ्जाथा॑मश्विना॒ रथ॑म् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! स्तुतियों रूपी सागर के पार जाने के लिए तुम नौका बनकर आओ एवं धरती पर आने के लिए अपने रथ में घोड़े जोड़ो. (७)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Come as a boat to go across the sea of praise and add horses to your chariot to come to the earth. (7)
अ॒रित्रं॑ वां दि॒वस्पृ॒थु ती॒र्थे सिन्धू॑नां॒ रथः॑ । धि॒या यु॑युज्र॒ इन्द॑वः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! सागर तट पर स्थित तुम्हारी नौका आकाश से भी विशाल है. धरती पर गमन करने के लिए तुम्हारे पास रथ है. तुम्हारे यज्ञकर्म में सोमरस भी सम्मिलित रहता है. (८)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Located on the sea shore your boat is even bigger than the sky. You have a chariot to walk on the earth. Somras is also involved in your yajnakarma. (8)
दि॒वस्क॑ण्वास॒ इन्द॑वो॒ वसु॒ सिन्धू॑नां प॒दे । स्वं व॒व्रिं कुह॑ धित्सथः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कण्वपुत्रो! अश्विनीकुमारों से यह पूछो कि आकाश से सूर्यकिरणें उत्पन्न होती हैं एवं वृष्टि के उत्पत्ति स्थल उसी आकाश से हमारे विकास का कारण उषाकालीन प्रकाश भी प्रकट होता है. हे अश्विनीकुमारो! इन दोनों स्थानों में से तुम अपना रूप कहां स्थापित करना चाहते हो? (९)
EN English Translation
O sons of kanvas! Ask the Ashwinikumaras that the sun rays arise from the sky and the origin of the rain, the reason for our development from the same sky, the light of the dawn is also revealed. O Ashwinikumaro! Where do you want to establish your form of these two places? (9)
अभू॑दु॒ भा उ॑ अं॒शवे॒ हिर॑ण्यं॒ प्रति॒ सूर्यः॑ । व्य॑ख्यज्जि॒ह्वयासि॑तः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सूर्य के प्रकाश से उषाकाल में रशिमियां उत्पन्न हुई हैं. उदित हुआ सूर्य सोने के समान बन जाता है. आकाश में सूर्य के आ जाने के कारण अग्नि काले रंग की होकर अपनी लपटों से प्रकाशित है. (१०)
EN English Translation
The sunlight has produced rashimians in the early hours. The rising sun becomes like gold. Due to the arrival of the sun in the sky, the agni is black and illuminated with its flames. (10)
अभू॑दु पा॒रमेत॑वे॒ पन्था॑ ऋ॒तस्य॑ साधु॒या । अद॑र्शि॒ वि स्रु॒तिर्दि॒वः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
रात्रि के पार उदयाचल तक जाने के लिए सूर्य का मार्ग सुंदर बना हुआ है. आकाश को प्रकाशित करने वाले सूर्य की दीप्ति दिखाई देती है. (११)
EN English Translation
The path of the sun to go beyond the night to Udayachal remains beautiful. The brightness of the sun illuminating the sky is visible. (11)
तत्त॒दिद॒श्विनो॒रवो॑ जरि॒ता प्रति॑ भूषति । मदे॒ सोम॑स्य॒ पिप्र॑तोः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तोतागण प्रसन्नता के लिए सोमपान करने वाले अश्चिनीकुमारों द्वारा की गई अपनी रक्षा की बार-बार प्रशंसा करते हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
The Stotagans repeatedly praise their defences by the Ashchinikumaras who perform sompan for pleasure. (12)
वा॒व॒सा॒ना वि॒वस्व॑ति॒ सोम॑स्य पी॒त्या गि॒रा । म॒नु॒ष्वच्छ॑म्भू॒ आ ग॑तम् ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सुखदाता अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम सोमपान और स्तुति श्रवण करने के लिए मनु के समान परिचारक यजमान के घर में निवास करो. (१३)
EN English Translation
O happy Ashwinikumaro! You dwell in the house of the host like Manu to listen to sompan and praise. (13)
यु॒वोरु॒षा अनु॒ श्रियं॒ परि॑ज्मनोरु॒पाच॑रत् । ऋ॒ता व॑नथो अ॒क्तुभिः॑ ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे चारों ओर गमनशील अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम्हारे आगमन की शोभा का अनुसरण करती हुई उषा आवे. तुम दोनों निशा में संपादित यज्ञ का हवि ग्रहण करो. (१४)
EN English Translation
O ashchinikumaro moving around! Follow the splendour of your arrival. Both of you accept the yajna edited in Nisha. (14)
उ॒भा पि॑बतमश्विनो॒भा नः॒ शर्म॑ यच्छतम् । अ॒वि॒द्रि॒याभि॑रू॒तिभिः॑ ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम दोनों सोमरस पिओ. इसके पश्चात् तुम अपनी प्रसिद्ध रक्षा द्वारा हमें सुखदान करो. (१५)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! You both drink somras. After this, you comfort us with your famous defense. (15)
