आ त्वेता॒ नि षी॑द॒तेन्द्र॑म॒भि प्र गा॑यत । सखा॑यः॒ स्तोम॑वाहसः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुति करने वाले मित्रो! शीघ्र आओ और यहां बैठो. तुम लोग इंद्र की स्तुति करो. (१)
EN English Translation
O praising friends! Come quickly and sit here. You people praise Indra. (1)
पु॒रू॒तमं॑ पुरू॒णामीशा॑नं॒ वार्या॑णाम् । इन्द्रं॒ सोमे॒ सचा॑ सु॒ते ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोमरस तैयार हो जाने पर सब लोग एकत्र हो जाओ और शन्रुओं का नाश करने वाले एवं श्रेष्ठ धनों के स्वामी इंद्र की स्तुति करो. (२)
EN English Translation
When the Somras are ready, all the people come together and praise Indra, the destroyer of the enemies and lord of the best wealths. (2)
स घा॑ नो॒ योग॒ आ भु॑व॒त्स रा॒ये स पुरं॑ध्याम् । गम॒द्वाजे॑भि॒रा स नः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वह ही इंद्र हमारे अभावों को पूरा करें, हमें धन दें, अनेक प्रकार की बुद्धि प्रदान करें और भांति-भांति के अन्न लेकर हमारे पास आवें. (३)
EN English Translation
May the same Indra make up for our deprivations, give us wealth, give us many kinds of wisdom and come to us with various kinds of food. (3)
यस्य॑ सं॒स्थे न वृ॒ण्वते॒ हरी॑ स॒मत्सु॒ शत्र॑वः । तस्मा॒ इन्द्रा॑य गायत ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
युद्ध में जिस इंद्र के घोड़ों सहित रथ को देखकर शत्रु भाग जाते हैं, उन्हीं इंद्र की स्तुति करो. (४)
EN English Translation
In the war, the indra whose enemies run away after seeing his chariot with the horses, praise the same indra. (4)
सु॒त॒पाव्ने॑ सु॒ता इ॒मे शुच॑यो यन्ति वी॒तये॑ । सोमा॑सो॒ दध्या॑शिरः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यह पवित्र और विशुद्ध सोमरस यज्ञ में सोमपान करने वाले के समीप पीने हेतु अपने आप पहुंच जाता है. (५)
EN English Translation
The pristine and pure somras automatically reaches near the one who does sompan in the yajna. (5)
त्वं सु॒तस्य॑ पी॒तये॑ स॒द्यो वृ॒द्धो अ॑जायथाः । इन्द्र॒ ज्यैष्ठ्या॑य सुक्रतो ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सुंदर कर्म करने वाले इंद्र! तुम सभी देवों में बड़े होने के कारण सोमपान करने के लिए सबसे अधिक उत्साहित रहते हो. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra who does beautiful deeds! You remain the most excited to sompan because you are most grow up among all the gods. (6)
आ त्वा॑ विशन्त्वा॒शवः॒ सोमा॑स इन्द्र गिर्वणः । शं ते॑ सन्तु॒ प्रचे॑तसे ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुतियों के लक्ष्य इंद्र! तीनों सवन नामक यज्ञां में व्याप्त सोमरस तुम्हें मिले. यह सोम उच्चज्ञान की प्राप्ति में तुम्हारा सहायक एवं कल्याणकारी प्राप्त हो. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra, the target of the praises! You get the somras in the three yagna named sawans. May this Som be your helper and welfare in the attainment of higher knowledge. (7)
त्वां स्तोमा॑ अवीवृध॒न्त्वामु॒क्था श॑तक्रतो । त्वां व॑र्धन्तु नो॒ गिरः॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सौ यज्ञ करने वाले इंद्र! ऋग्वेद के मंत्रों एवं सोम-संबंधी मंत्रों ने तुम्हारी प्रशंसा की है. हमारी स्तुतियां भी तुम्हारी प्रतिष्ठा बढ़ावें. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra, who performs a hundred yajnas! The mantras of the Rigveda and the mantras related to Soma have praised you. May our praises also enhance your reputation. (8)
अक्षि॑तोतिः सनेदि॒मं वाज॒मिन्द्रः॑ सह॒स्रिण॑म् । यस्मि॒न्विश्वा॑नि॒ पौंस्या॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
रक्षा में सदा तत्पर रहने वाले इंद्र इस हजार संख्या वाले सोम रूपी अन्न को ग्रहण करें. इसी में समस्त शक्तियां रहती हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
Indra, who is always ready in defence, should receive this thousand number of Som-like food. In it all the powers reside. (9)
मा नो॒ मर्ता॑ अ॒भि द्रु॑हन्त॒नूना॑मिन्द्र गिर्वणः । ईशा॑नो यवया व॒धम् ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुति करने के योग्य इंद्र! तुम शक्तिशाली हो. तुम ऐसी कृपा करना कि हमारे शन्रु हमारे शरीर पर चोट न कर सकें. तुम उन्हें हमारा वध करने से रोकना. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra worthy of praise! You're powerful. Please be so kind that our enemies cannot hurt our bodies. You stop them from slaughtering us. (10)
