इंद्र ने हव्य देने वाले यजमान को असंख्य उत्तम धन दिया तथा वृत्र नामक असुर को मार डाला. सूर्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए जब स्तोताओं में परस्पर स्पर्धा हुई तो इंद्र ने उसका कारण बनकर सबको सहारा दिया. (४)
EN English Translation
Indra gave innumerable good money to the host who gave the havya and killed the asura named Vritra. When there was a competition among the stotas to get the sun, Indra supported everyone by being the reason for it. (4)
