महि॑ म॒हे त॒वसे॑ दीध्ये॒ नॄनिन्द्रा॑ये॒त्था त॒वसे॒ अत॑व्यान् । यो अ॑स्मै सुम॒तिं वाज॑सातौ स्तु॒तो जने॑ सम॒र्य॑श्चि॒केत॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं परम दुर्बल संवरण ऋषि परम शक्तिशाली इंद्र के लिए उत्तम स्तुति बोलता हूं. उससे मेरे समान लोग शक्तिशाली बनेंगे. संग्राम में अन्नलाभ करने के उद्देश्य से स्तुति सुनकर इंद्र मुझ संवरण के स्तोताओं पर कृपा करें. (१)
EN English Translation
I speak best praise for the most powerful Indra, the most weak Samvaran sage. That will make people like me powerful. After listening to praise for the purpose of getting food in the battle, Indra should be kind to the stomats of Mujh Savaran. (1)
स त्वं न॑ इन्द्र धियसा॒नो अ॒र्कैर्हरी॑णां वृष॒न्योक्त्र॑मश्रेः । या इ॒त्था म॑घव॒न्ननु॒ जोषं॒ वक्षो॑ अ॒भि प्रार्यः स॑क्षि॒ जना॑न् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कामवर्षी एवं धनस्वामी इंद्र! तुम हमारा ध्यान करते हुए एवं प्रसन्नता उत्पन्न करने वाले स्तोत्रं के कारण रथ में जुते हुए घोड़ों की लगाम पकड़ते हुए अपने शत्रुओं को पराजित करो. (२)
EN English Translation
O karyavarna and wealthy indra! You defeat your enemies by meditating on us and holding the reins of the horses in the chariot because of the hymns that bring joy. (2)
न ते त॑ इन्द्रा॒भ्य१॒॑स्मदृ॒ष्वायु॑क्तासो अब्र॒ह्मता॒ यदस॑न् । तिष्ठा॒ रथ॒मधि॒ तं व॑ज्रह॒स्ता र॒श्मिं दे॑व यमसे॒ स्वश्वः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे महान् इंद्र! जो हम लोगों अर्थात् तुम्हारे भक्तों से भिन्न हैं, तुमसे जो संयुक्त नहीं हैं एवं यज्ञकर्म अर्थात् यज्ञ नहीं करते हैं, वे तुम्हारे मनुष्य नहीं हैं. हे हाथ में वज़ लेने वाले इंद्र! हमारे यज्ञ में आने के लिए तुम रथ को स्वयं हांकते हो. (३)
EN English Translation
O great Indra! Those who are different from us, that is, your devotees, those who are not united with you and do not perform yajnakarma, i.e., yajna, are not your human beings. O Indra who takes the vaz in his hand! You yourself drive the chariot to come to our yagna. (3)
पु॒रू यत्त॑ इन्द्र॒ सन्त्यु॒क्था गवे॑ च॒कर्थो॒र्वरा॑सु॒ युध्य॑न् । त॒त॒क्षे सूर्या॑य चि॒दोक॑सि॒ स्वे वृषा॑ स॒मत्सु॑ दा॒सस्य॒ नाम॑ चित् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारे निजी स्तोत्र बहुत से हैं. तुम उपजाऊ धरती पर वर्षा के जल के निमित्त जल प्रतिबंधकों का नाश करते हो. कामवर्षी इंद्र! तुम सूर्य के स्थान अंतरिक्ष में वर्षा रोकने वाले राक्षसों के साथ युद्ध करके उनका नाम तक मिटा देते हो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! There are many of your personal hymns. You destroy water restrictions for rain water on fertile earth. The working Indra! You even erase their names by fighting with monsters who stop raining in the sun's place space. (4)
व॒यं ते त॑ इन्द्र॒ ये च॒ नरः॒ शर्धो॑ जज्ञा॒ना या॒ताश्च॒ रथाः॑ । आस्माञ्ज॑गम्यादहिशुष्म॒ सत्वा॒ भगो॒ न हव्यः॑ प्रभृ॒थेषु॒ चारुः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हम तुम्हारे सेवक ऋत्विज् और यजमान-यज्ञ करके तुम्हारा बल बढ़ाते हैं एवं हवन करने के लिए तुम्हारे समीप जाते हैं. हे व्यापक बलशाली इंद्र! तुम्हारी कृपा से युद्ध में हमारे पास प्रशंसनीय योद्धा उसी प्रकार आवें, जिस प्रकार भग के समीप गए थे. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We increase your strength by performing the rites and the yajman-yajna of your servants and go to you to perform the havan. O mighty Indra, the mighty one! By your grace, let us have admirable warriors in battle in the same way as they came near to God. (5)
प॒पृ॒क्षेण्य॑मिन्द्र॒ त्वे ह्योजो॑ नृ॒म्णानि॑ च नृ॒तमा॑नो॒ अम॑र्तः । स न॒ एनीं॑ वसवानो र॒यिं दाः॒ प्रार्यः स्तु॑षे तुविम॒घस्य॒ दान॑म् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पूजनीय शक्ति वाले, सर्वव्यापक एवं मरणरहित इंद्र! तुम अपने तेज से जगत् को ढककर हमें उज्ज्वल वर्ण का धन पर्याप्त मात्रा में दो. हम अधिक धन वाले इंद्र के दान की प्रशंसा करते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O godly, omnipresent and dieless Indra! You cover the world with your brightness and give us enough wealth of bright characters. We admire indra's donation of more wealth. (6)
ए॒वा न॑ इन्द्रो॒तिभि॑रव पा॒हि गृ॑ण॒तः शू॑र का॒रून् । उ॒त त्वचं॒ दद॑तो॒ वाज॑सातौ पिप्री॒हि मध्वः॒ सुषु॑तस्य॒ चारोः॑ ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शूर इंद्र! स्तुतिकर्ता एवं ऋत्विज् हम लोगों की तुम रक्षा करो. तुम युद्ध में आच्छादक रूप धारण करके हमारे द्वारा निचोड़ा हुआ सोम पीकर प्रसन्न बनो. (७)
EN English Translation
O Shur Indra! Praiseworthy and rich people, protect us. Be happy to drink the somp that we have squeezed by taking the cover form of a cover in battle. (7)
उ॒त त्ये मा॑ पौरुकु॒त्स्यस्य॑ सू॒रेस्त्र॒सद॑स्योर्हिर॒णिनो॒ ररा॑णाः । वह॑न्तु मा॒ दश॒ श्येता॑सो अस्य गैरिक्षि॒तस्य॒ क्रतु॑भि॒र्नु स॑श्चे ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
गिरिक्षित गोत्र में उत्पन्न पुरुकुत्स के पुत्र, स्वर्ण के स्वामी एवं प्रेरक त्रसदस्यु द्वारा दिए गए सफेद रंग के दस घोड़े हमारा रथ खींचें. रथ में घोड़े जोड़ने का काम हम शीघ्र कर लेंगे. (८)
EN English Translation
Draw our chariot ten white horses given by the son of Purukuts, the lord of gold and the apostle Trasadsyu, the son of purukuts born in the girakshit tribe. We will soon do the work of adding horses to the chariot. (8)
उ॒त त्ये मा॑ मारु॒ताश्व॑स्य॒ शोणाः॒ क्रत्वा॑मघासो वि॒दथ॑स्य रा॒तौ । स॒हस्रा॑ मे॒ च्यव॑तानो॒ ददा॑न आनू॒कम॒र्यो वपु॑षे॒ नार्च॑त् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मरुताश्च के पुत्र विद्ध के द्वारा दिए गए लाल रंग के घोड़े शीघ्र गति से हमें ढोवें. मुझ पूज्य को उन्होंने हजारों संख्या में धन एवं शरीर के गहने दिए हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
Let the red horses given by the son of The Desert, Vidh, carry us at a quick pace. To my god, he has given thousands of wealth and body ornaments. (9)
उ॒त त्ये मा॑ ध्व॒न्य॑स्य॒ जुष्टा॑ लक्ष्म॒ण्य॑स्य सु॒रुचो॒ यता॑नाः । म॒ह्ना रा॒यः सं॒वर॑णस्य॒ ऋषे॑र्व्र॒जं न गावः॒ प्रय॑ता॒ अपि॑ ग्मन् ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
लक्ष्मण के पुत्र ध्वन्यक द्वारा दिए हुए दीप्तिशाली एवं वहन करने में समर्थ घोड़े हमें ढोवें? गाएं जिस प्रकार गोचर भूमि में जाती हैं, उसी प्रकार ध्वन्यक द्वारा दिया हुआ धन मुझ संवरण ऋषि के घर में आवे. (१०)
EN English Translation
Should we carry the bright and capable horse given by the phonetic son of Lakshman? Just as the cows go to the transit land, so should the money given by the phonetic come to the house of the sage. (10)
