प्र शंत॑मा॒ वरु॑णं॒ दीधि॑ती॒ गीर्मि॒त्रं भग॒मदि॑तिं नू॒नम॑श्याः । पृष॑द्योनिः॒ पञ्च॑होता शृणो॒त्वतू॑र्तपन्था॒ असु॑रो मयो॒भुः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अत्यंत सुखकारक स्तुतिवचन, हव्यदान आदि कमो के साथ वरुण मित्र, भग एवं अदिति के पास पहुंचें. अंतरिक्ष में स्थित प्राण आदि पांच वायुओं के साधक, अबाध गति वाले, प्राणदाता एवं सुख के आधार वायु हमारी स्तुतियां सुनें. (१)
EN English Translation
Reach out to Varuna Mitra, Bhaga and Aditi with the most pleasant praises, havans, etc. Listen to our praises of the five air seekers, the unspeakable, the propagators and the base of happiness, the seekers, etc. in space. (1)
प्रति॑ मे॒ स्तोम॒मदि॑तिर्जगृभ्यात्सू॒नुं न मा॒ता हृद्यं॑ सु॒शेव॑म् । ब्रह्म॑ प्रि॒यं दे॒वहि॑तं॒ यदस्त्य॒हं मि॒त्रे वरु॑णे॒ यन्म॑यो॒भु ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिस प्रकार माता अपने पुत्र को छाती से लगा लेती है, उसी प्रकार मेरे हृदयहारी एवं उत्तम सुखदाता स्तोत्र को अदिति स्वीकार करें. जो स्तुतिवचन प्रिय, देवहितकारी एवं आनंददाता हैं, उन्हें हम मित्र और वरुण को देते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Just as a mother attaches her son to the chest, so may Aditi accept my heart-warming and best comforting hymn. We give the praises which are loving, god-giving and pleasing, to friends and to Varuna. (2)
उदी॑रय क॒वित॑मं कवी॒नामु॒नत्तै॑नम॒भि मध्वा॑ घृ॒तेन॑ । स नो॒ वसू॑नि॒ प्रय॑ता हि॒तानि॑ च॒न्द्राणि॑ दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता सु॑वाति ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! तुम क्रांतदर्शियों मे श्रेष्ठ एवं सामने वर्तमान अग्नि को प्रसन्न करो. हम इन्हें मधुर सोम एवं घृत द्वारा प्रसन्न करें. वे हमें हितकारक, उत्तम एवं प्रसन्नताकारक सोना दें. (३)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! You please the present agni in front of you and the best of the revolutionaries. Let us please them with sweet som and dhrit. They give us good, good and happy gold. (3)
समि॑न्द्र णो॒ मन॑सा नेषि॒ गोभिः॒ सं सू॒रिभि॑र्हरिवः॒ सं स्व॒स्ति । सं ब्रह्म॑णा दे॒वहि॑तं॒ यदस्ति॒ सं दे॒वानां॑ सुम॒त्या य॒ज्ञिया॑नाम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम प्रसन्न मन से हमें गोयुक्त करते हो. हे हरि नामक घोड़ों वाले! तुम हमें मेधावी पुत्र, कल्याण, पर्याप्त अन्न एवं यज्ञ के योग्य देवों की कृपा से मिलाते हो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You make us goose with a happy heart. O you have horses called Hari! You mix us with the grace of the bright sons, the gods worthy of welfare, adequate food and yajna. (4)
दे॒वो भगः॑ सवि॒ता रा॒यो अंश॒ इन्द्रो॑ वृ॒त्रस्य॑ सं॒जितो॒ धना॑नाम् । ऋ॒भु॒क्षा वाज॑ उ॒त वा॒ पुरं॑धि॒रव॑न्तु नो अ॒मृता॑सस्तु॒रासः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दीप्तिशाली भग, सविता, धन के स्वामी त्वष्टा, वृत्रहंता इंद्र धनों को जीतने वाले ऋभुक्षा, वाज एवं पुरंधि आदि हमारे यज्ञ में आकर हमारी रक्षा करें. (५)
EN English Translation
May the brightly-lit Bhaga, Savita, the lord of wealth, Taksha, Vrithrahanta Indra, who conquers the wealth, come and protect us in our yagna. (5)
म॒रुत्व॑तो॒ अप्र॑तीतस्य जि॒ष्णोरजू॑र्यतः॒ प्र ब्र॑वामा कृ॒तानि॑ । न ते॒ पूर्वे॑ मघव॒न्नाप॑रासो॒ न वी॒र्यं१॒॑ नूत॑नः॒ कश्च॒नाप॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम यजमान मरुतों सहित इंद्र के कर्मो को कहते हैं. इंद्र युद्ध से नहीं भागते, विजयी होते हैं एवं जरारहित हैं. हे धनस्वामी इंद्र! तुम्हारी शक्ति न पुराने लोग जान सके और न उनके परवर्ती. कोई नया व्यक्ति भी तुम्हें नहीं जान सका. (६)
EN English Translation
We call indra's deeds along with the host maruts. Indra does not run away from war, he is victorious and is without hesitation. O Dhanaswami Indra! Your power can neither be known to the old people nor their successors. No new person even knew you. (6)
उप॑ स्तुहि प्रथ॒मं र॑त्न॒धेयं॒ बृह॒स्पतिं॑ सनि॒तारं॒ धना॑नाम् । यः शंस॑ते स्तुव॒ते शम्भ॑विष्ठः पुरू॒वसु॑रा॒गम॒ज्जोहु॑वानम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अंतरात्मा! तुम सबसे पहले रत्न-धारण करने वाले एवं धन देने वाले बृहस्पति की स्तुति करो. वे स्तुति करने वाले यजमान के लिए अतिशय सुखदाता हैं एवं पुकारने वाले यजमान के पास महान् धन लेकर जाते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O conscience! First of all, praise jupiter, who wears a gemstone and gives wealth. They are very pleasant to the praise host and carry great wealth to the calling host. (7)
तवो॒तिभिः॒ सच॑माना॒ अरि॑ष्टा॒ बृह॑स्पते म॒घवा॑नः सु॒वीराः॑ । ये अ॑श्व॒दा उ॒त वा॒ सन्ति॑ गो॒दा ये व॑स्त्र॒दाः सु॒भगा॒स्तेषु॒ रायः॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बृहस्पति! तुम्हारी सुरक्षा पाकर लोग हिंसारहित, धनसंपन्न एवं शोभन पुत्रों वाले बनते हैं. तुम्हारा अनुग्रह पाने वालों में जो संपत्तिशाली लोग अश्व, गाय या कपड़े का दान करते हैं, उनके पास धन हो. (८)
EN English Translation
O Jupiter! With your protection, people become violence-free, wealthy and blessed sons. Among those who receive your grace, those who are rich, who donate horse, cow, or cloth, have wealth. (8)
वि॒स॒र्माणं॑ कृणुहि वि॒त्तमे॑षां॒ ये भु॒ञ्जते॒ अपृ॑णन्तो न उ॒क्थैः । अप॑व्रतान्प्रस॒वे वा॑वृधा॒नान्ब्र॑ह्म॒द्विषः॒ सूर्या॑द्यावयस्व ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बृहस्पति! तुम ऐसे लोगों का धन नष्ट कर दो जो अपना धन हम स्तुतिकर्तताओं को न देकर उसका स्वयं उपभोग करते हैं. जो व्रतों का पालन नहीं करते हैं एवं मंत्रों से द्वेष रखते हैं, वे लोग इस संसार में बढ़ रहे हैं. तुम उन्हें सूर्य से अलग करो. (९)
EN English Translation
O Jupiter! You destroy the wealth of those who consume their own wealth by not giving it to us eulogists. Those who do not follow fasts and hate mantras are growing up in this world. You separate them from the sun. (9)
य ओह॑ते र॒क्षसो॑ दे॒ववी॑तावच॒क्रेभि॒स्तं म॑रुतो॒ नि या॑त । यो वः॒ शमीं॑ शशमा॒नस्य॒ निन्दा॑त्तु॒च्छ्यान्कामा॑न्करते सिष्विदा॒नः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मरुतो! जो यजमान देवयज्ञ में राक्षसों को बुलाता है जो तुम्हारे कर्म की स्तुति करने वाले की निंदा करता है और जो सांसारिक भोगों के लिए क्लेश उठाता है, उसे तुम बिना पहियों वाले रथ द्वारा अंधकार में डाल दो. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Maruto! The host who calls the demons in the devyagya who condemns those who praise your deeds and who raises tribulations for worldly pleasures, cast him into darkness by a chariot without wheels. (10)
तमु॑ ष्टुहि॒ यः स्वि॒षुः सु॒धन्वा॒ यो विश्व॑स्य॒ क्षय॑ति भेष॒जस्य॑ । यक्ष्वा॑ म॒हे सौ॑मन॒साय॑ रु॒द्रं नमो॑भिर्दे॒वमसु॑रं दुवस्य ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आत्मा! तुम उन्हीं रुद्रदेव की स्तुति करो, जो शोभन-धनुष वाले एवं सभी ओषधियों के स्वामी हैं, महान् आत्म-कल्याण के लिए उन्हीं शक्तिशाली रुद्र का यज्ञ एवं सेवा करो. (११)
EN English Translation
Oh soul! Praise the same Rudradeva, who is the lord of all the robes and the lord of all the herbs, perform yajna and service to the same powerful Rudra for the great self-welfare. (11)
दमू॑नसो अ॒पसो॒ ये सु॒हस्ता॒ वृष्णः॒ पत्नी॑र्न॒द्यो॑ विभ्वत॒ष्टाः । सर॑स्वती बृहद्दि॒वोत रा॒का द॑श॒स्यन्ती॑र्वरिवस्यन्तु शु॒भ्राः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दानशील मन वाले एवं हाथ से कुशलतापूर्वक शोभनकर्म करने वाले ऋभुगण वर्षा करने वाले इंद्र की पत्नियां सरिताएं विभु द्वारा निर्मित सरस्वती नदी व परम दीप्तिशालिनी राका कामनाएं पूर्ण करने वाली एवं दीप्त हैं. वे हमें धन दें. (१२)
EN English Translation
The wives of Indra, who are with a charitable mind and performs good deeds efficiently by hand, are the daughters of Indra who perform the saraswati river and the ultimate deepthishali raka built by Vibhu, fulfilling the wishes and the brightest. They give us money. (12)
प्र सू म॒हे सु॑शर॒णाय॑ मे॒धां गिरं॑ भरे॒ नव्य॑सीं॒ जाय॑मानाम् । य आ॑ह॒ना दु॑हि॒तुर्व॒क्षणा॑सु रू॒पा मि॑ना॒नो अकृ॑णोदि॒दं नः॑ ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान् एवं उत्तम-शरण देने वाले इंद्र के प्रति मैं बुद्धिमत्तापूर्ण नवरचित स्तुतियों को बोलता हूं. वे वर्षा करने वाले, कन्यारूपी धरती की नदियों को रूप देने वाले एवं हमारे लिए जल का निर्माण करने वाले हैं. (१३)
EN English Translation
I speak wisely prophetic praises to the great and best-refuge Indra. They are the rain-doers, the makers of the rivers of the earth in virgos, and they are going to create water for us. (13)
प्र सु॑ष्टु॒तिः स्त॒नय॑न्तं रु॒वन्त॑मि॒ळस्पतिं॑ जरितर्नू॒नम॑श्याः । यो अ॑ब्दि॒माँ उ॑दनि॒माँ इय॑र्ति॒ प्र वि॒द्युता॒ रोद॑सी उ॒क्षमा॑णः ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोताओ! तुम्हारी सुंदर स्तुति गर्जन करने वाले, वर्षा-संबंधी शब्द से युक्त एवं जलस्वामी बादल के पास पहुंचे. वे जल एवं बिजली को धारण करने वाले हैं तथा आकाश को प्रकाशित करते हुए चलते हैं. (१४)

This stotao! Those who roared your beautiful praise, with the word "rain-related" and the water-owners approached the cloud. They hold water and electricity and walk illuminating the sky. (14)
ए॒ष स्तोमो॒ मारु॑तं॒ शर्धो॒ अच्छा॑ रु॒द्रस्य॑ सू॒नूँर्यु॑व॒न्यूँरुद॑श्याः । कामो॑ रा॒ये ह॑वते मा स्व॒स्त्युप॑ स्तुहि॒ पृष॑दश्वाँ अ॒यासः॑ ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारा यह स्तोत्र रुद्र के पुत्र मरुतों की शक्ति के सम्मुख भली प्रकार उपस्थित हो. वे तरुण हैं. हे मन! अभिलाषा मुझे धन के लिए आकर्षित करती है. बुंदकियों वाले घोड़ों पर यज्ञ के प्रति आने वाले मरुतों की स्तुति करो. (१५)
EN English Translation
Let this psalm of ours be well present in the face of the power of the Maruts, the son of Rudra. They are young. Oh mind! Desire attracts me to wealth. Praise the maruts who come to the yagna on horses with bundkis. (15)
प्रैष स्तोमः॑ पृथि॒वीम॒न्तरि॑क्षं॒ वन॒स्पती॒ँरोष॑धी रा॒ये अ॑श्याः । दे॒वोदे॑वः सु॒हवो॑ भूतु॒ मह्यं॒ मा नो॑ मा॒ता पृ॑थि॒वी दु॑र्म॒तौ धा॑त् ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
धन की कामना से किया गया यह स्तोत्र पृथ्वी, अंतरिक्ष, वनस्पतियों एवं ओषधियों को प्राप्त हो. हमारे प्रति समस्त देव शोभन आह्वान वाले बनें. माता धरती हमें दुर्बुद्धि में न डाले. (१६)
EN English Translation
This hymn made with the desire of wealth should be received by the earth, space, flora and herbs. Let all the gods be invoked towards us. Mother Earth should not let us be misunderstood. (16)

हे देवो! हम तुम्हारे द्वारा दिए गए महान् सुख का निर्बाध भोग करें. (१७)

Oh, God! May we enjoy the great pleasures you have given us unhindered. (17)
सम॒श्विनो॒रव॑सा॒ नूत॑नेन मयो॒भुवा॑ सु॒प्रणी॑ती गमेम । आ नो॑ र॒यिं व॑हत॒मोत वी॒राना विश्वा॑न्यमृता॒ सौभ॑गानि ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम अश्विनीकुमारों की परम नवीन एवं सुख देने वाली रक्षा का अनुभव करें. हे मरणरहित अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम हमें धन, वीर पुत्र एवं सौभाग्य दो. (१८)
EN English Translation
Let us experience the ultimate new and pleasing defense of the Ashwinikumaras. O mortal aschinikumaro! You give us wealth, brave sons and good fortune. (18)
