हु॒वे वो॑ दे॒वीमदि॑तिं॒ नमो॑भिर्मृळी॒काय॒ वरु॑णं मि॒त्रम॒ग्निम् । अ॒भि॒क्ष॒दाम॑र्य॒मणं॑ सु॒शेवं॑ त्रा॒तॄन्दे॒वान्स॑वि॒तारं॒ भगं॑ च ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! मैं सुख पाने की इच्छा से स्तुतियों के द्वारा अदिति, वरुण, मित्र, अग्नि, शत्रुहंता एवं सेवायोग्य अर्यमा, सविता, भग एवं रक्षा करने वाले सभी देवों को बुलाता हूं. (१)
EN English Translation
Oh, God! I call Aditi, Varuna, Mitra, Agni, Shatrughna and all the gods who protect the serviceable Aryama, Savita, Bhaga and protectors through the praises with the desire to find happiness. (1)
सु॒ज्योति॑षः सूर्य॒ दक्ष॑पितॄननागा॒स्त्वे सु॑महो वीहि दे॒वान् । द्वि॒जन्मा॑नो॒ य ऋ॑त॒सापः॑ स॒त्याः स्व॑र्वन्तो यज॒ता अ॑ग्निजि॒ह्वाः ॥ (२)

हे शोभनदीप्ति वाले सूर्य! दक्ष से उत्पन्न एवं सुंदर प्रकाश वाले देवों को हमारे अनुकूल बनाओ. वे देव दो जन्म वाले, यज्ञ को प्यार करने वाले, सत्य बोलने वाले, धनसंपन्न, यज्ञ के पात्र एवं अग्निजिह्न हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O sun with great light! Make the gods born of daksha and with beautiful light friendly to us. Those gods are two born, those who love yajna, those who speak the truth, the rich, the characters of yajna and the agnijina. (2)
उ॒त द्या॑वापृथिवी क्ष॒त्रमु॒रु बृ॒हद्रो॑दसी शर॒णं सु॑षुम्ने । म॒हस्क॑रथो॒ वरि॑वो॒ यथा॑ नो॒ऽस्मे क्षया॑य धिषणे अने॒हः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्वर्ग और धरती! तुम हमें अधिक बल दो. हे स्वर्ग एवं धरती! हमारे उत्तम सुख के लिए हमें बड़ा घर दो. ऐसा प्रयत्न करो, जिससे हमारे पास विशाल संपत्ति हो जाए. हे धारणशील धरतीस्वर्ग! हमें पापरहित बनाने के लिए घर दो. (३)
EN English Translation
O heaven and earth! You give us more force. O heaven and earth! Give us a big house for our best happiness. Try to make an effort that will make us have huge wealth. O permanent earth class! Give us a house to make us sinless. (3)
आ नो॑ रु॒द्रस्य॑ सू॒नवो॑ नमन्ताम॒द्या हू॒तासो॒ वस॒वोऽधृ॑ष्टाः । यदी॒मर्भे॑ मह॒ति वा॑ हि॒तासो॑ बा॒धे म॒रुतो॒ अह्वा॑म दे॒वान् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे निवासस्थान देने वाले एवं पराजित न होने वाले रुद्रपुत्र मरुद्गण! इस समय बुलाने पर तुम हमारे पास आओ. वे युद्ध में महान् सुख देने वाले हैं. इस कारण हम उन्हें बुलाते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O the rudraputra marudgans who give the abode and are not defeated! At this time you come to us on the call. They are great pleasures in war. That's why we call them. (4)
मि॒म्यक्ष॒ येषु॑ रोद॒सी नु दे॒वी सिष॑क्ति पू॒षा अ॑भ्यर्ध॒यज्वा॑ । श्रु॒त्वा हवं॑ मरुतो॒ यद्ध॑ या॒थ भूमा॑ रेजन्ते॒ अध्व॑नि॒ प्रवि॑क्ते ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
प्रकाशयुक्त स्वर्ग एवं धरती जिन मरुतों के साथ संयुक्त हैं, स्तोताओं को धनसंपन्न करने वाले पूषा जिनकी सेवा करते हैं, ऐसे मरुद्गण हमारी पुकार सुनकर जब आते हैं, उस समय विस्तृत मार्ग में पड़ने वाले प्राणी कांप उठते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
When the deserts with which the light heavens and the earth are combined, the worshipers who offer riches to the Stotas, whom they serve, when they hear our call, the creatures falling in the wide way tremble. (5)
अ॒भि त्यं वी॒रं गिर्व॑णसम॒र्चेन्द्रं॒ ब्रह्म॑णा जरित॒र्नवे॑न । श्रव॒दिद्धव॒मुप॑ च॒ स्तवा॑नो॒ रास॒द्वाजा॒ँ उप॑ म॒हो गृ॑णा॒नः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोता! नवीन स्तुतियों द्वारा स्तुतियोग्य एवं वीर इंद्र की स्तुति करो. इंद्र इस प्रकार बुलाए जाते हुए हमारी पुकार सुनें एवं हमें अधिक अन्न दें. (६)
EN English Translation
This is the hymn! Praise the worthy and heroic Indra with new praises. Indra is called in this way and listen to our call and give us more food. (6)
ओ॒मान॑मापो मानुषी॒रमृ॑क्तं॒ धात॑ तो॒काय॒ तन॑याय॒ शं योः । यू॒यं हि ष्ठा भि॒षजो॑ मा॒तृत॑मा॒ विश्व॑स्य स्था॒तुर्जग॑तो॒ जनि॑त्रीः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मनुष्य हितकारी जल! हमारे पुत्रों एवं पौत्रों को कष्टनाशक एवं सुखसाधन अन्न दो. तुम चर एवं अचर प्राणियों को उत्पन्न करने वाले एवं माता से भी बढ़कर चिकित्साकर्ता हो. (७)
EN English Translation
O mankind-benefactorial water! Give our sons and grandsons distress-destroying and happiness-giving food. You are more of a healer than a mother, producing plant and animal beings. (7)
आ नो॑ दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता त्राय॑माणो॒ हिर॑ण्यपाणिर्यज॒तो ज॑गम्यात् । यो दत्र॑वाँ उ॒षसो॒ न प्रती॑कं व्यूर्णु॒ते दा॒शुषे॒ वार्या॑णि ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
रक्षा करने वाले, हाथ में सोना लिए हुए एवं यज्ञपात्र सविता हमारे यज्ञ में भली-भांति आवें. वे हव्यदाता यजमान को उषा के समान उज्ज्वल धन देते हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
The protectors, with gold in their hands and the sacrificial sinner Savita should come well into our yajna. They give the havandata host as bright money as Usha. (8)
उ॒त त्वं सू॑नो सहसो नो अ॒द्या दे॒वाँ अ॒स्मिन्न॑ध्व॒रे व॑वृत्याः । स्याम॒हं ते॒ सद॒मिद्रा॒तौ तव॑ स्याम॒ग्नेऽव॑सा सु॒वीरः॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शक्तिपुत्र अग्नि! आज देवों को इस यज्ञ में बार-बार लाओ. मैं तुम्हारे धनदान में सदा वर्तमान रहूं. हे अग्नि! मैं तुम्हारी रक्षा के कारण शोभन पुत्र-पौत्रों वाला बनू. (९)
EN English Translation
O son of power, agni! Bring the gods again and again to this yagna today. I will always be present in your wealth. O agni! I will be shobhan son-grandson because of your protection. (9)
उ॒त त्या मे॒ हव॒मा ज॑ग्म्यातं॒ नास॑त्या धी॒भिर्यु॒वम॒ङ्ग वि॑प्रा । अत्रिं॒ न म॒हस्तम॑सोऽमुमुक्तं॒ तूर्व॑तं नरा दुरि॒ताद॒भीके॑ ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विद्वान् अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम सेवा से युक्त मेरे स्तोत्रों के समीप आओ एवं अत्रि के समान हमें भी अंधकार से छुड़ाओ. हे नेताओ! हमें दुःख देने वाले युद्ध से बचाओ. (१०)
EN English Translation
O scholar Ashwinikumaro! Come near to My psalms of service, and deliver us from darkness, just like Atri. Hey leaders! Save us from the war that hurts us. (10)
ते नो॑ रा॒यो द्यु॒मतो॒ वाज॑वतो दा॒तारो॑ भूत नृ॒वतः॑ पुरु॒क्षोः । द॒श॒स्यन्तो॑ दि॒व्याः पार्थि॑वासो॒ गोजा॑ता॒ अप्या॑ मृ॒ळता॑ च देवाः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! हमें दीप्तिसंपन्न, बलयुक्त एवं संतानसहित तथा बहुतों के द्वारा प्रशंसा के योग्य धन दो. स्वर्ग में रहने वाले, धरती पर रहने वाले, गाय से उत्पन्न एवं जल से उत्पन्न देवगण हमारी इच्छा पूरी करें. (११)
EN English Translation
Oh, God! Give us riches, strong and childly and worthy of praise by many. May the gods who live in heaven, who live on earth, who are born of cows and born of water, fulfill our will. (11)
ते नो॑ रु॒द्रः सर॑स्वती स॒जोषा॑ मी॒ळ्हुष्म॑न्तो॒ विष्णु॑र्मृळन्तु वा॒युः । ऋ॒भु॒क्षा वाजो॒ दैव्यो॑ विधा॒ता प॒र्जन्या॒वाता॑ पिप्यता॒मिषं॑ नः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वर्षा करने वाले रुद्र, सरस्वती, विष्णु, वायु, ऋभुक्षा, वाज और विधाता देव परस्पर प्रेम रखते हुए हमें सुखी करें. पर्जन्य एवं वायु हमारे अन्न को बढ़ावें. (१२)
EN English Translation
May the rainy god of Rudra, Saraswati, Vishnu, Vayu, Ribhuksha, Vaj and Vidhata, who shower, make us happy by having mutual love. Let the rain and air increase our food. (12)
उ॒त स्य दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता भगो॑ नो॒ऽपां नपा॑दवतु॒ दानु॒ पप्रिः॑ । त्वष्टा॑ दे॒वेभि॒र्जनि॑भिः स॒जोषा॒ द्यौर्दे॒वेभिः॑ पृथि॒वी स॑मु॒द्रैः ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
प्रसिद्ध सविता देव, भग, जल के पौत्र एवं दान देने वाले अग्नि हमारी रक्षा करें. देवों एवं देवपत्नियों के साथ प्रसन्न त्वष्टा, देवों के साथ प्रसन्न स्वर्ग एवं सागरों के साथ प्रसन्न धरती हमारी रक्षा करें. (१३)
EN English Translation
Let the famous Savita Dev, bhaga, the grandson of water and the donating agni protect us. May the happy skin with the gods and goddesses, the heavens happy with the gods and the happy earth with the seas protect us. (13)
उ॒त नोऽहि॑र्बु॒ध्न्यः॑ शृणोत्व॒ज एक॑पात्पृथि॒वी स॑मु॒द्रः । विश्वे॑ दे॒वा ऋ॑ता॒वृधो॑ हुवा॒नाः स्तु॒ता मन्त्राः॑ कविश॒स्ता अ॑वन्तु ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अहिर्बुष्य, अजएकपाद, पृथ्वी एवं समुद्र हमारी स्तुतियां सुनें. यज्ञ को बढ़ाने वाले, बुलाए हुए एवं स्तुति किए हुए मंत्रों के विषय तथा मेधावी ऋषियों के द्वारा प्रशंसित विश्वेदेव हमारी रक्षा करें. (१४)
EN English Translation
Listen to our praises of the ahirbushya, the ajakapada, the earth and the sea. May visvesvardev, who is the one who enhances the yagna, the subjects of the mantras called and praised by the meritorious sages, protect us. (14)
ए॒वा नपा॑तो॒ मम॒ तस्य॑ धी॒भिर्भ॒रद्वा॑जा अ॒भ्य॑र्चन्त्य॒र्कैः । ग्ना हु॒तासो॒ वस॒वोऽधृ॑ष्टा॒ विश्वे॑ स्तु॒तासो॑ भूता यजत्राः ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मेरे पुत्र अर्थात् भरद्वाजगोत्रीय ऋषि पूजायोग्य मंत्रों के द्वारा देवों की स्तुति करते हैं. हे यज्ञपात्र देवो! तुम हव्य द्वारा आहूत, निवासस्थान देने वाले, अपराजेय एवं देवपत्नियों के साथ पूजे जाते हो. (१५)
EN English Translation
My son i.e. Bharadwajagotriya Rishi praises the gods through worshipable mantras. O god of yajnapatra! You are worshiped by Havya, the abode-giver, the invincible and the devaswives. (15)
