आ सुते सिञ्चत श्रियँ रोदस्योरभिश्रियम् । रसा दधीत वृषभम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवताओ! सोमरस चमकीला और दूधिया है. आप आकाश और पृथ्वी पर उस सोमरस को मिलाइए. वह दूधियापन सोमरस को अपने में मिला लेता है. (१)
EN English Translation
O gods! Somerus is bright and milky. You mix that somerus on the sky and the earth. He merges milkiness someras into himself. (1)
ते जानत स्वमोक्या३ँ सं वत्सासो न मातृभिः । मिथो नसन्त जामिभिः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
भीड़ में भी जैसे बछड़े अपनी मां गायों के पास चले जाते हैं, वैसे ही सोम आश्रयदाताओं के पास चले जाते हैं. गाएं जैसे अपने बाड़ों को जानती हैं, वैसे ही ये अपने जाने योग्य स्थान को जानते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Even in the crowd, just as calves go to their mother cows, Som goes to the shelters. Just as the cows know their enclosures, they know their place to go. (2)
उप स्रक्वेषु बप्सतः कृण्वते धरुणं दिवि । इन्द्रे अग्ना नमः स्वः ॥ (३)

इंद्र और अग्नि अपनी ज्वाला से हवि को स्वर्गलोक तक पहुंचा देते हैं. उस के बाद सभी इंद्र और अग्नि को पोषक बनाते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Indra and Agni take Havi to heaven with their flame. After that, everyone makes Indra and Agni nutritious. (3)
तदिदास भुवनेषु ज्येष्टं यतो जज्ञा उग्रस्त्वेषनृम्णः । सद्यो जज्ञानो नि रिणाति शत्रूननु यं विश्वे मदन्त्यूमाः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सभी भुवनों में वे ब्रह्म सब से बड़े कहलाए, सर्वत्र उन की दीप्ति व्याप्त हुई. उन के बल से सूर्य प्रकट हुए, जिन के प्रकट होने से शत्रु समाप्त हो जाते हैं. सभी प्राणी उन्हें देखते ही खुश हो जाते है. (४)
EN English Translation

वावृधानः शवसा भूर्योजाः शत्रुर्दासाय भियसं दधाति । अव्यनच्च व्यनच्च सस्नि सं ते नवन्त प्रभृता मदेषु ॥ (५)

हे इंद्र! आप ने अपनी क्षमता से बढ़ोतरी पाई. आप शक्तिमान, दुष्टों के दुश्मन हैं और उन्हें व्यय देते हैं. आप चराचर के संचालक हैं. हम उन्हें (इंद्र) एक साथ नमन एवं उन की उपासना करते हैं. हम उन्हें प्रसन्नता देते हैं और स्वयं भी प्रसन्न होते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You grew up to your potential. You are powerful, enemies of the wicked and give them expenses. You are the operator of grazing. We bow down to him (Indra) together and worship him. We give them happiness and we are happy ourselves. (5)
त्वे क्रतुमपि वृञ्जन्ति विश्वे द्विर्यदेते त्रिर्भवन्त्यूमाः । स्वादोः स्वादीयः स्वादुना सृजा समदः सु मधु मधुनाभि योधीः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यजमान इंद्र के लिए यज्ञ करते हैं. हम जब दो और दो से तीन होते हैं तो हमारी प्रिय संतानों को आप प्रिय ऐश्वर्य प्रदान करने व उन के बाद आने वाली पीढ़ी को भी मधुरता से युक्त करने की कृपा कीजिए. (६)
EN English Translation
The host performs yajna for Indra. When we are two and two to three, please give your beloved opulence to our beloved children and also to enrich the next generation after them with sweetness. (6)
त्रिकद्रुकेषु महिषो यवाशिरं तुविशुष्मस्तृम्पत्सोममपिबद्विष्णुना सुतं यथावशम् । स ईं ममाद महि कर्म कर्तवे महामुरुँ सैनँ सश्चद्देवो देवँ सत्य इन्दुः सत्यमिन्द्रम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोम सर्वव्यापक प्रकाशमान इंद्र को आनंद देते हैं, जिस से वे और भी अधिक महान काम कर सकें. वे सत्यवान और देव स्वरूप हैं. तीन खुक (पात्र) में निकाले गए जौ के साथ मिले हुए सोमरस को इंद्र विष्णु के साथ पीते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
Soma gives pleasure to the omnipresent enlightening Indra, so that he can do even greater work. They are satyavan and dev swaroop. Indra drinks someras mixed with barley extracted in three khuk (vessels) with Vishnu. (7)
साकं जातः क्रतुना साकमोजसा ववक्षिथ साकं वृद्धो वीर्यैः सासहिर्मृधो विचर्षणिः । दाता राध स्तुवते काम्यं वसु प्रचेतन सैनँ सश्चद्देवो देवँ सत्य इन्दुः सत्यमिन्द्रम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप अपने तेज से संसार को उठा सकते हैं. आप यज्ञ के साथ प्रकट हुए हैं. आप वृद्धं को वीर्यवान बना सकते हैं. आप विशेष ज्ञानी, उपासकों के लिए धनदाता और चेतन हैं. सत्य स्वरूप प्रकाशित सोमरस आप तक पहुंचता है. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You can lift the world with your speed. You have appeared with yajna. You can make the old man semen. You are a special knowledgeable, a giver and a giver to worshippers. Publishing the true form reaches somerus you. (8)
अध त्विषीमाँ अभ्योजसा कृविं युधाभवदा रोदसी अपृणदस्य मज्मना प्र वावृधे । अधत्तान्यं जठरे प्रेमरिच्यत प्र चेतय सैनँ सश्चद्देवो देवँ सत्य इन्दुः सत्यमिन्द्रम् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! अपनी शक्ति से आप ने कृवि राक्षस को हराया. आप ने स्वर्गलोक और पृथ्वीलोक के तेज में बढ़ोतरी की. आप ने सोमरस का एक भाग पेट में पहुंचाया, दूसरा शेष भाग देवताओं के लिए बचाया. आप अन्य देवताओं को सोमपान हेतु प्रेरणा दीजिए. सत्य स्वरूप प्रकाशित सोमरस इंद्र तक पहुंचता है. (९)
