अवा नो अग्न ऊतिभिर्गायत्रस्य प्रभर्मणि । विश्वासु धीषु वन्द्य ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप की सभी यज्ञो में बुद्धिपूर्वक वंदना की जाती है. आप गायत्री छंद में स्तुति गाने पर प्रसन्न होते हैं. आप अपने रक्षा साधनों से हमारी रक्षा करने की कृपा कीजिए. (१)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are worshiped wisely in all the yagyas. You are happy to sing praise in Gayatri verses. Please protect us with your means of defence. (1)
आ नो अग्ने रयिं भर सत्रासाहं वरेण्यम् । विश्वासु पृत्सु दुष्टरम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप भरपूर धन दीजिए. आप शत्रुनाशक श्रेष्ठ सामर्थ्य दीजिए. आप सभी दुष्टों को दूर कीजिए. आप सभी वैभव हमें प्रदान कीजिए. (२)
EN English Translation
O agni! You give a lot of money. You give the best power to the enemy. You remove all the wicked. Give us all your glory. (2)
आ नो अग्ने सुचेतुना रयिं विश्वायुपोषसम् । मार्डीकं धेहि जीवसे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप सुचेतना संपन्न, संपूर्ण पोषण (आयु पर्यंत) दाता व सुखदाता हैं. आप हमें पूरे जीवन के लिए धन दीजिए. (३)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are a well-informed, complete nourishment (till age) giver and comforter. You give us money for the whole life. (3)
अग्निँ हिन्वन्तु नो धियः सप्तिमाशुमिवाजिषु । तेन जेष्म धनन्धनम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हमारी बुद्धियां आप को प्रेरित करें. युद्ध में घोड़े को प्रेरित करने की भांति हम आप को प्रेरित करते हैं, जिस से हम जीवन संग्राम में सारे वैभव जीत सकें. (४)
EN English Translation
O agni! May our intellects inspire you. Like inspiring the horse in the war, we inspire you, so that we can win all the glory in the battle of life. (4)
यया गा आकरामहै सेनयाग्ने तवोत्या । तां नो हिन्व मघत्तये ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! संरक्षण शक्ति से हमें रक्षित कीजिए. दिव्य ज्ञान हेतु हम आप को आमंत्रित करते हैं. आप हमें उत्तम कोटि का धन प्रदान कीजिए. (५)
EN English Translation
O agni! Protect us with conservation power. We invite you for divine knowledge. You give us the best amount of money. (5)
आग्ने स्थूरँ रयिं भर पृथुं गोमन्तमश्विनम् । अङ्धि खं वर्त्तया पविम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप हमें गोवान व अश्ववान बनाइए. आप हमें प्रचुर धन दीजिए. आकाश आप के तेज से पवित्र हैं. आप दुर्गुणों को दूर भगाइए. (६)
EN English Translation
O agni! You make us Goans and Horses. You give us a lot of money. The sky is holy by the glory of you. You remove the vices. (6)
अग्ने नक्षत्रमजरमा सूर्यँ रोहयो दिवि । दधज्ज्योतिर्जनेभ्यः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप लोगों के लिए ज्योति धारण कीजिए. आप स्वर्गलोक में सूर्य को स्थापित कीजिए. जर्जर न होने वाले सूर्य सर्वत्र प्रकाशदाता हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O agni! Don't light up for you guys. You install the sun in heaven. The sun, which is not dilapidated, is the giver of light everywhere. (7)
अग्ने केतुर्विशामसि प्रेष्ठः श्रेष्ठ उपस्थसत् । बोधा स्तोत्रे वयो दधत् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप प्रिय, सर्वोत्तम व ज्ञानदाता हैं. आप हमारे स्तोत्र जगाइए. आप हमारे लिए आयु धारण करिए. (८)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are dear, the best and the giver of knowledge. You wake up our hymns. You take life for us. (8)
अग्निर्मूर्धा दिवः ककुत्पतिः पृथिव्या अयम् । अपाँ रेताँसि जिन्वति ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप मूर्धन्य, स्वर्गलोकवासी व पृथ्वी के पालनहार हैं. आप जलों को अपने में समाहित किए रहते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are foolish, heavenly and sustainer of the earth. You keep the water absorbed in you. (9)
ईशिषे वार्यस्य हि दात्रस्याग्ने स्वःपतिः । स्तोता स्यां तव शर्मणि ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप वरणीय हैं. आप स्वर्ग के ईश्वर हैं. आप दाता व अधिष्ठाता हैं. हम आप के सुख भोगें, सदैव आप के पूजक बने रहें. (१०)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are adorable. You are the God of heaven. You are the giver and dean. May we enjoy your pleasures, always remain your worshippers. (10)
उदग्ने शुचयस्तव शुक्रा भ्राजन्त ईरते । तव ज्योतीँष्यर्चयः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हम ज्योतिपूर्वक आप की अर्चना करते हैं. हम आप को पवित्र, चमकदार प्रकाशित ज्योति से भजते हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
O agni! We lightly worship you. We bless you with a holy, shiny illuminated light. (11)
