त्यान्नु क्ष॒त्रिया॒ँ अव॑ आदि॒त्यान्या॑चिषामहे । सु॒मृ॒ळी॒काँ अ॒भिष्ट॑ये ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम अभिलषित धन पाने के लिए क्षत्रिय जाति वाले एवं भली प्रकार सुखदाता आदित्यों से रक्षा की याचना करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
We beg for protection from the Kshatriya jati and well-wishing Adityas to get the money that is wanted. (1)
मि॒त्रो नो॒ अत्यं॑ह॒तिं वरु॑णः पर्षदर्य॒मा । आ॒दि॒त्यासो॒ यथा॑ वि॒दुः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मित्र, वरुण, अर्यमा और आदित्य हमें पाप से पार उतारें, क्योंकि वे हमारे दुःसह कार्यो को जानते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Friends, Varun, Aryama and Aditya, let us overcome sin, because they know our evil deeds. (2)
तेषां॒ हि चि॒त्रमु॒क्थ्यं१॒॑ वरू॑थ॒मस्ति॑ दा॒शुषे॑ । आ॒दि॒त्याना॑मरं॒कृते॑ ॥ (३)

आदित्यों का विचित्र एवं स्तुतियोग्य धन हव्य देने वाले एवं पर्याप्त यज्ञ करने वाले यजमान के लिए है. (३)
EN English Translation
The strange and praiseworthy wealth of the Adityas is for the host who gives a havan and performs enough yajna. (3)
महि॑ वो मह॒तामवो॒ वरु॑ण॒ मित्रार्य॑मन् । अवां॒स्या वृ॑णीमहे ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वरुण, मित्र एवं अर्यमा! तुम महान् हो एवं यजमान के प्रति तुम्हारी रक्षा महान् है. हम तुम्हारी रक्षा की प्रार्थना करते है. (४)
EN English Translation
Hey Varun, friend and Aryama! You are great and your defense of the host is great. We pray for your protection. (4)
जी॒वान्नो॑ अ॒भि धे॑त॒नादि॑त्यासः पु॒रा हथा॑त् । कद्ध॑ स्थ हवनश्रुतः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आदित्यो! हम जीवितों के पास दौड़कर आओ. हे पुकार सुनने वाले आदित्यो! हमारी मृत्यु से पहले आना. (५)
EN English Translation
Hey Aditya! Let's come running to the living. O adithyas who hear the call! Come before our death. (5)
यद्वः॑ श्रा॒न्ताय॑ सुन्व॒ते वरू॑थ॒मस्ति॒ यच्छ॒र्दिः । तेना॑ नो॒ अधि॑ वोचत ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आदित्यो! सोमरस निचोड़ने के काम से थके हुए यजमान के लिए तुम्हारे पास जो उत्तम धन एवं घर है, उससे हमें प्रसन्न करके हमसे अच्छी-अच्छी बातें करो. (६)
EN English Translation
Hey Aditya! Please us with the good wealth and house you have for the host tired of the work of squeezing somers and do good things to us. (6)
अस्ति॑ देवा अं॒होरु॒र्वस्ति॒ रत्न॒मना॑गसः । आदि॑त्या॒ अद्भु॑तैनसः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! पापी के पास महान् पाप है एवं पापहीन के पास उत्तम पुण्य है. हे पापरहित आदित्यो! हमारी अभिलाषा पूरी करो. (७)
EN English Translation
Oh, God! The sinner has great sin and the sinless has the best virtue. O sinless Adityas! Fulfill our desire. (7)
मा नः॒ सेतुः॑ सिषेद॒यं म॒हे वृ॑णक्तु न॒स्परि॑ । इन्द्र॒ इद्धि श्रु॒तो व॒शी ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जाल हम लोगों को न बांधे. जाल हमें महान् यज्ञकर्म के लिए छोड़ दे. इंद्र प्रसिद्ध एवं सबको वश में करने वाले हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
Don't trap us people. Leave us for the great yajnakarma. Indra is famous and subdued to all. (8)
मा नो॑ मृ॒चा रि॑पू॒णां वृ॑जि॒नाना॑मविष्यवः । देवा॑ अ॒भि प्र मृ॑क्षत ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे रक्षा के इच्छुक देवो! हमें छुड़ाओ. हमें हिंसा करने वाले शत्रुओं के जाल में मत बांधना. (९)
EN English Translation
O god willing to protect! Rescue us. Don't trap enemies who commit violence. (9)
उ॒त त्वाम॑दिते मह्य॒हं दे॒व्युप॑ ब्रुवे । सु॒मृ॒ळी॒काम॒भिष्ट॑ये ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे महान् एवं सुख देने वाली अदिति देवी! मनचाहा फल पाने के लिए मैं तुम्हारी स्तुति करता हूं. (१०)
EN English Translation
O great and happy Aditi Devi! I praise you for getting the desired fruit. (10)
पर्षि॑ दी॒ने ग॑भी॒र आँ उग्र॑पुत्रे॒ जिघां॑सतः । माकि॑स्तो॒कस्य॑ नो रिषत् ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अदिति! हमारा सब ओर से पालन करो. उथले एवं पुत्रों को दुःखी करने वाले जल में हिंसक का जाल हमारे पुत्र को न मारे. (११)
EN English Translation
Hey Aditi! Follow us from all sides. Do not kill our son in the shallow and painful water of the sons. (11)
अ॒ने॒हो न॑ उरुव्रज॒ उरू॑चि॒ वि प्रस॑र्तवे । कृ॒धि तो॒काय॑ जी॒वसे॑ ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विस्तीर्ण गमन वाली एवं महती अदिति! हम पापहीनों को जीवित रखो, जिससे हमारे पुत्र जीवित रह सकें. (१२)
EN English Translation
This is the great and great Aditi! Let us keep the sinless alive, so that our sons may live. (12)
ये मू॒र्धानः॑ क्षिती॒नामद॑ब्धासः॒ स्वय॑शसः । व्र॒ता रक्ष॑न्ते अ॒द्रुहः॑ ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सबसे मूर्धन्य, मनुष्यों की हिंसा न करने वाले, स्वाधीन यश वाले एवं द्रोहरहित आदित्य हमारे यज्ञकर्मो की रक्षा करते हैं. (१३)
EN English Translation
The most foolish, the one who does not violence to human beings, the one with independent glory and the draconian Aditya protects our yajnakarmas. (13)
ते न॑ आ॒स्नो वृका॑णा॒मादि॑त्यासो मु॒मोच॑त । स्ते॒नं ब॒द्धमि॑वादिते ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आदित्यो! मैं हिंसकों के जाल में इस प्रकार फंस गया हूं, जैसे लोग चोर को पकड़ते हैं. हे अदिति! तुम हमें छुड़ाओ. (१४)
EN English Translation
Hey Aditya! I am caught in the trap of violent people like people catch a thief. Hey Aditi! You rescue us. (14)
अपो॒ षु ण॑ इ॒यं शरु॒रादि॑त्या॒ अप॑ दुर्म॒तिः । अ॒स्मदे॒त्वज॑घ्नुषी ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आदित्यो! यह जाल एवं दुर्बुद्धि हमारी हिंसा न करके हमसे दूर जाए. (१५)
EN English Translation
Hey Aditya! Let this trap and evil go away from us by not doing our violence. (15)
शश्व॒द्धि वः॑ सुदानव॒ आदि॑त्या ऊ॒तिभि॑र्व॒यम् । पु॒रा नू॒नं बु॑भु॒ज्महे॑ ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शोभन दान करने वाले आदित्यो! तुम्हारी रक्षाओं के कारण हम पहले के समान इस समय भी बहुत से सुख भोगेंगे. (१६)
EN English Translation
O Adityas who donating shobhan! Due to your defenses, we will enjoy many pleasures at this time as before. (16)
शश्व॑न्तं॒ हि प्र॑चेतसः प्रति॒यन्तं॑ चि॒देन॑सः । देवाः॑ कृणु॒थ जी॒वसे॑ ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे उत्तम ज्ञान वाले देवो! हमारी ओर बार-बार आने वाले पापी शत्रुओं को हमारे जीवन के लिए हमसे अलग करो. (१७)
EN English Translation
O gods of the best knowledge! Separate sinners who come to us again and again from us for our lives. (17)
तत्सु नो॒ नव्यं॒ सन्य॑स॒ आदि॑त्या॒ यन्मुमो॑चति । ब॒न्धाद्ब॒द्धमि॑वादिते ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अदिति एवं आदित्यो! वह प्रशंसनीय जाल हमें छोड़ने के कारण सेवायोग्य बने जो तुम्हारी कृपा से हमें छोड़ता है. जैसे बंधन बंधे हुए पुरुष को छोड़ा है, उसी प्रकार यह जाल हमें छोड़ता है. (१८)
EN English Translation
O Aditi and Aditya! He became serviceable because of leaving us the admirable trap which forsakes us by Your grace. Just as the bond is left to the bound man, so this trap leaves us. (18)
नास्माक॑मस्ति॒ तत्तर॒ आदि॑त्यासो अति॒ष्कदे॑ । यू॒यम॒स्मभ्यं॑ मृळत ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आदित्यो! हमारा वेग तुम्हारे समान नहीं है. तुम्हारा वेग हमें जाल से छुड़ा सकता है. तुम हमें सुखी करो. (१९)
EN English Translation
Hey Aditya! Our velocity is not the same as yours. Your velocity can free us from the trap. You make us happy. (19)
मा नो॑ हे॒तिर्वि॒वस्व॑त॒ आदि॑त्याः कृ॒त्रिमा॒ शरुः॑ । पु॒रा नु ज॒रसो॑ वधीत् ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आदित्यो! क्रिया द्वारा बनाया हुआ यह हिंसक जाल विवस्वान् के पुत्र यम के जाल के समान इस समय कमजोर हम लोगों को पहले के समान न मारे. (२०)
EN English Translation
Hey Aditya! This violent trap created by kriya is like the trap of Yama, the son of Vivasvan, at this time the weak we do not kill the same people as before. (20)
वि षु द्वेषो॒ व्यं॑ह॒तिमादि॑त्यासो॒ वि संहि॑तम् । विष्व॒ग्वि वृ॑हता॒ रपः॑ ॥ (२१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आदित्यो! हमारे द्वेषियों एवं पापियों का विनाश करो तथा इस जाल एवं सब जगह फैले हुए पाप का नाश करो. (२१)
EN English Translation
Hey Aditya! Destroy our enemies and sinners, and destroy this net and the sin that is spread everywhere. (21)
