मूर्धानं दिवो अरतिं पृथिव्या वैश्वानरमृत आ जातमग्निम् । कविँ सम्राजमतिथिं जनानामासन्नः पात्रं जनयन्त देवाः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप स्वर्गलोक में मूर्धन्य हैं. आप यज्ञ में प्रकट होते हैं. आप पृथ्वी पर भ्रमणशील हैं. आप कवि, सम्राट् व अतिथि हैं. आप लोगों के निकटवर्ती हैं. आप देवताओं को प्रकट करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are unconscious in heaven. You appear in the yajna. You are traveling on earth. You are a poet, emperor and guest. You are close to people. You reveal the gods. (1)
त्वां विश्वे अमृत जायमानँ शिशुं न देवा अभि सं नवन्ते । तव क्रतुभिरमृतत्वमायन्वैश्वानर यत्पित्रोरदीदेः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप विश्व रूप व अमृत स्वरूप हैं. आप संसार के स्वामी (नायक) हैं. आप यज्ञों द्वारा अमरता पाते हैं. आप की कृपा से यजमान दिव्यता प्राप्त करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are the world form and nectar form. You are the master (hero) of the world. You find immortality through sacrifices. By your grace, the host attains divinity. (2)
नाभिं यज्ञानाँ सदनँ रयीणां महामाहावमभि सं नवन्त । वैश्वानरँ रथ्यमध्वराणां यज्ञस्य केतुं जनयन्त देवाः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप यज्ञ की नाभि धन के भंडार, महिमावान, यज्ञ के संचालक व यज्ञ की पताका हैं. आप को अरणि मंथन से उत्पन्न किया जाता है. हम आप का आह्वान करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are the navel of yajna, the storehouse of wealth, the glory, the operator of yajna and the flag of yajna. You are born from Arani Manthan. We call upon you. (3)
प्र वो मित्राय गायत वरुणाय विपा गिरा । महिक्षत्रावृतं बृहत् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! मित्र और वरुण महान, क्षात्रवान व विशाल हैं. आप इन देवों के लिए ऊंचे स्वर से स्तोत्र गाइए. दोनों देव उन स्तोत्रों को सुनने के लिए यज्ञ स्थान पर पधारने की कृपा करें. (४)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Friends and Varuna are great, brilliant and huge. You sing hymns with a loud voice for these gods. Both the gods should be pleased to come to the yajna place to listen to those stotras. (4)
सम्राजा या घृतयोनी मित्रश्चोभा वरुणश्च । देवा देवेषु प्रशस्ता ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! मित्र और वरुण ये दोनों देव देवताओं में प्रशंसित हैं. दोनों देव सम्राट् हैं. दोनों देव प्रकाश उत्पन्न करते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Mitra and Varuna are both admired among the gods. Both gods are emperors. Both gods generate light. (5)
ता नः शक्तं पर्थिवस्य महो रायो दिव्यस्य । महि वां क्षत्रं देवेषु ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र! हे वरुण! आप महान एवं देवताओं के बीच सराहनीय हैं. आप पृथ्वीलोक और स्वर्गलोक का वैभव हमें प्राप्त कराने की कृपा कीजिए. (६)
EN English Translation
Hey friend! O Varuna! You are admirable among the great and the gods. Please give us the glory of earth and heaven. (6)
इन्द्रा याहि चित्रभानो सुता इमे त्वायवः । अण्वीभिस्तना पूतासः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप अदभुत व चित्रभानु हैं. आप के लिए अंगुलियों से सोमरस निचोड़ा जाता है. आप को पवित्र सोमरस चढ़ाया जाता है. आप यज्ञ में पधारिए और सोमरस पीने की कृपा कीजिए. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are amazing and picturesful. Somerus is squeezed from the fingers for you. You are offered the holy Somerus. You come to the yajna and please drink someras. (7)
इन्द्रा याहि धियेषितो विप्रजूतः सुतावतः । उप ब्रह्माणि वाघतः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! बुद्धि से आप तक पहुंचा जा सकता है. आप को ब्राह्मण बुलाते हैं. आप ब्रह्मवचनों को सुनने के लिए यज्ञ में पधारने की कृपा कीजिए. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You can be reached with intelligence. You are called Brahmins. Please come to the yajna to listen to the Brahmavachans. (8)
इन्द्रा याहि तूतुजान उप ब्रह्माणि हरिवः । सुते दधिष्व नश्चनः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप अश्चों के पालनहार हैं. आप हमारी ब्रह्मस्तुतियों को सुनने के लिए यज्ञ में पधारने की कृपा कीजिए. आप हमारी भेंट की हुई हवि धारण कीजिए. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are the sustainer of ashchas. Please come to the yagna to listen to our Brahmastutis. You wear our gifted havi. (9)
तमीडिष्व यो अर्चिषा वना विश्वा परिष्वजत् । कृष्णा कृणोति जिह्वया ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप अपनी जिह्वा से सारे वनों को काला कर देते हैं. हमें उन बलशाली अग्नि की अर्चना करनी चाहिए. (१०)
EN English Translation
O agni! You blacken all the forests with your tongue. We should worship those powerful agnis. (10)
य इद्ध आविवासति सुम्नमिन्द्रस्य मर्त्यः । द्युम्नाय सुतरा अपः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जो मनुष्य अच्छे मन से आप की उपासना करते हैं. आप उन के लिए स्वर्गलोक से जल बरसाने की कृपा कीजिए. (११)
EN English Translation
O Indra! People who worship you with a good heart. Please shower water from heaven for them. (11)
ता नो वाजवतीरिष आशून्पिपृतमर्वतः । एन्द्रमग्निं च वोढवे ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हे अग्नि! आप हमें बलदायी अन्न और वेगवान घोड़े प्रदान कीजिए ताकि हम उन्नतिशील हो जाएं. (१२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! O agni! You give us strong food and fast horses so that we can progress. (12)
