इ॒दमि॒त्था रौद्रं॑ गू॒र्तव॑चा॒ ब्रह्म॒ क्रत्वा॒ शच्या॑म॒न्तरा॒जौ । क्रा॒णा यद॑स्य पि॒तरा॑ मंहने॒ष्ठाः पर्ष॑त्प॒क्थे अह॒न्ना स॒प्त होतॄ॑न् ॥ (१)

हिस्सा बांटने वाले माता-पिता ने नाभानेदिष्ट का हिस्सा न देकर जो रुद्रस्तुति की, वही रुद्रस्तुति करके उद्यत-वचन नाभानेदिष्ट अंगिरा गोत्र वाले ऋषियों के यज्ञ में गए एवं भूली हुई बात सात होताओं को बताकर यज्ञ समाप्त किया. (१)
EN English Translation
The parents who distributed the part did the rudrastuti by not giving the share of nabhenedishta, did the same rudrastuti and went to the yagna of the sages of the sages of the angira tribe who had forgotten the word and concluded the yajna by telling the forgotten seven hotas. (1)
स इद्दा॒नाय॒ दभ्या॑य व॒न्वञ्च्यवा॑नः॒ सूदै॑रमिमीत॒ वेदि॑म् । तूर्व॑याणो गू॒र्तव॑चस्तमः॒ क्षोदो॒ न रेत॑ इ॒तऊ॑ति सिञ्चत् ॥ (२)

वे रुद्रदेव स्तोताओं को धन देने के लिए एवं शत्रुओं को न्ट करने के लिए यज्ञवेदी पर प्रकट हुए एवं शत्रुनाशक अस्त्र उन्हें दिए. बादल जिस प्रकार जल बरसाते हैं, उसी प्रकार शीघ्र गमन वाले एवं उद्यत-वचन रुद्र ने चारों ओर अपनी शक्ति दिखाई. (२)
EN English Translation
They appeared on the yajnavedi to give money to rudradeva stothas and to treat the enemies and gave them the enemy-destroying weapons. Just as the clouds rain water, so did the fast-moving and prolific Rudra show his power all around. (2)
मनो॒ न येषु॒ हव॑नेषु ति॒ग्मं विपः॒ शच्या॑ वनु॒थो द्रव॑न्ता । आ यः शर्या॑भिस्तुविनृ॒म्णो अ॒स्याश्री॑णीता॒दिशं॒ गभ॑स्तौ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! मैं तुम्हें बुलाता हूं. तुम उस स्तोता का यज्ञ संबंधी प्रयत्न देखकर मन के समान तीव्र गति से यज्ञ की ओर आते हो. जो हव्य लेकर सामने से मुझ यज्ञ में प्रवृत्त यजमान की उंगलियां पकड़कर एवं चरु पकाते हुए तुम्हारा नाम लेता है. (३)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! I'll call you. You come towards the yajna at a fast pace like the mind when you see the sacrificial effort of that hymn. Who takes your name from the front by holding the fingers of the host in my yagna and cooking the charu. (3)
कृ॒ष्णा यद्गोष्व॑रु॒णीषु॒ सीद॑द्दि॒वो नपा॑ताश्विना हुवे वाम् । वी॒तं मे॑ य॒ज्ञमा ग॑तं मे॒ अन्नं॑ वव॒न्वांसा॒ नेष॒मस्मृ॑तध्रू ॥ (४)

हे स्वर्गपुत्र अश्विनीकुमारो! जिस समय काली रात लाल रंग वाली उषाओं में बदलने लगती है, उस समय मैं तुम्हारा आह्वान करता हूं. मेरे हव्य अन्न की अभिलाषा करने के लिए तुम मेरे यज्ञ में आओ. अश्चों के समान उसे ग्रहण करो और मेरे प्रति द्रोह को भुला दो. (४)
EN English Translation
O son of heaven, Ashwinikumaro! At the time when the black night begins to turn into red ushas, I call upon you. You come to my yajna to wish for my good food. Accept him like a curse and forget the hatred towards me. (4)
प्रथि॑ष्ट॒ यस्य॑ वी॒रक॑र्ममि॒ष्णदनु॑ष्ठितं॒ नु नर्यो॒ अपौ॑हत् । पुन॒स्तदा वृ॑हति॒ यत्क॒नाया॑ दुहि॒तुरा अनु॑भृतमन॒र्वा ॥ (५)

प्रजापति का पुत्र उत्पन्न करने में समर्थ वीर्य सर्वोत्तम है. प्रजापति ने अपने उस मानव- हितकारी वीर्य का त्याग किया, जिसे उन्होंने अपनी सुंदर उषा के शरीर में सिंचित किया था. (५)
EN English Translation
Semen capable of producing the son of Prajapati is the best. Prajapati sacrificed his human-benevolent semen, which he had irrigated in the body of his beautiful Usha. (5)
म॒ध्या यत्कर्त्व॒मभ॑वद॒भीके॒ कामं॑ कृण्वा॒ने पि॒तरि॑ युव॒त्याम् । म॒ना॒नग्रेतो॑ जहतुर्वि॒यन्ता॒ सानौ॒ निषि॑क्तं सुकृ॒तस्य॒ योनौ॑ ॥ (६)

जिस समय पिता ने अपनी युवती कन्या के साथ यथेच्छ कर्म किया, उस समय उनके संभोग कर्म के समीप ही थोड़ा वीर्य गिरा. परस्पर अभिगमन करते हुए उन दोनों ने वह वीर्य यज्ञ के ऊंचे स्थान योनि में छोड़ा था. (६)
EN English Translation
At the time when the father did a lot of work with his young woman, a little semen fell near his sexual intercourse. While mutually transporting, they both left the semen in the vagina, the high place of the yajna. (6)
पि॒ता यत्स्वां दु॑हि॒तर॑मधि॒ष्कन्क्ष्म॒या रेतः॑ संजग्मा॒नो नि षि॑ञ्चत् । स्वा॒ध्यो॑ऽजनय॒न्ब्रह्म॑ दे॒वा वास्तो॒ष्पतिं॑ व्रत॒पां निर॑तक्षन् ॥ (७)

जिस समय पिता ने अपनी पुत्री के साथ संभोग किया उस समय धरती से मिलकर वीर्य त्याग किया. शोभन कर्म वाले देवों ने उसी वीर्य से व्रतरक्षक देव वास्तोष्पति का उत्पादन किया. (७)
EN English Translation
At the time when the father had sexual intercourse with his daughter, he gave up semen by meeting the earth. The devas with shobhan karma produced the vratakshan dev vastoshpati from the same semen. (7)
स ईं॒ वृषा॒ न फेन॑मस्यदा॒जौ स्मदा परै॒दप॑ द॒भ्रचे॑ताः । सर॑त्प॒दा न दक्षि॑णा परा॒वृङ्न ता नु मे॑ पृश॒न्यो॑ जगृभ्रे ॥ (८)

इंद्र ने नमुचि का वध करने के लिए संग्राम में जिस प्रकार फेन फेंका, उसी प्रकार वास्तोष्पति हमसे दूर जा रहे हैं. अंगिरागोत्रीय ऋषियों ने दक्षिणा के रूप में हमें जो गाएं दी थीं, उन्हें अल्पमन वाले वास्तोष्पति ने स्वीकार नहीं किया, जबकि वे उन्हें ग्रहण करने में समर्थ थे. (८)
EN English Translation
Just as Indra threw foam in the struggle to kill Namuchi, the Vastoshpatis are moving away from us. The songs that the Angiragotrian sages had given us as Dakshina were not accepted by the short-minded Vastospati, when they were able to accept them. (8)
म॒क्षू न वह्निः॑ प्र॒जाया॑ उप॒ब्दिर॒ग्निं न न॒ग्न उप॑ सीद॒दूधः॑ । सनि॑ते॒ध्मं सनि॑तो॒त वाजं॒ स ध॒र्ता ज॑ज्ञे॒ सह॑सा यवी॒युत् ॥ (९)

प्रजाओं को कष्ट पहुंचाने वाले और अग्नि के समान प्रजाओं को जलाने वाले राक्षस यज्ञ में शीघ्र नहीं आते. नंगे रहनेवाले राक्षस आदि रात में यज्ञ की अग्नि के पास नहीं आते. राक्षसों से युद्ध करने वाले एवं यज्ञ के धारक अग्नि काष्ठों और अन्न को स्वीकार करते हुए बलपूर्वक उत्पन्न हुए. (९)
EN English Translation
Demons who afflict the people and burn the people like agni do not come quickly in the yagna. The naked demons do not come near the agni of yajna at night. Those who fought the demons and the bearers of the yagna were born by force accepting the agni woods and food. (9)
म॒क्षू क॒नायाः॑ स॒ख्यं नव॑ग्वा ऋ॒तं वद॑न्त ऋ॒तयु॑क्तिमग्मन् । द्वि॒बर्ह॑सो॒ य उप॑ गो॒पमागु॑रदक्षि॒णासो॒ अच्यु॑ता दुदुक्षन् ॥ (१०)

नौ मास के अनुष्ठान के द्वारा गाएं प्राप्त करने वाले अंगिरागोत्रीय ऋषियों ने सत्य भाषण करते हुए एवं कमनीय स्तुतियां बोलते हुए यज्ञ समाप्त किया. वे इहलोक और परलोक में उन्नत होकर इंद्र के समीप पहुंचे एवं उन्होंने दक्षिणारहित यज्ञ करके अविनाशी फल प्राप्त किया. (१०)
EN English Translation
The Angiragotrian sages, who received the songs through the ritual of nine months, concluded the yajna by making a truthful speech and chanting commissible praises. He advanced to Ihlok and the hereafter and approached Indra and attained indestructible fruit by performing dakshina unaid yajna. (10)
म॒क्षू क॒नायाः॑ स॒ख्यं नवी॑यो॒ राधो॒ न रेत॑ ऋ॒तमित्तु॑रण्यन् । शुचि॒ यत्ते॒ रेक्ण॒ आय॑जन्त सब॒र्दुघा॑याः॒ पय॑ उ॒स्रिया॑याः ॥ (११)

हे इंद्र! अंगिरागोत्रीय ऋषियों ने कमनीय गायों की मित्रता शीघ्र प्राप्त करके अमृततुल्य दूध देने वाली गाय का दूध यज्ञ में होम किया. उस समय नई संपत्ति के समान सिंचित करने वाला जल प्राप्त किया. (११)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The Angiragotrian sages quickly obtained the friendship of the commensurate cows and took home the milk of the cow which gave the nectar-like milk in the yajna. At that time the same irrigating water as the new property was obtained. (11)
प॒श्वा यत्प॒श्चा वियु॑ता बु॒धन्तेति॑ ब्रवीति व॒क्तरी॒ ररा॑णः । वसो॑र्वसु॒त्वा का॒रवो॑ऽने॒हा विश्वं॑ विवेष्टि॒ द्रवि॑ण॒मुप॒ क्षु ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तोता इस प्रकार कहते हैं कि इंद्र अपने स्तोता से बहुत अधिक प्रेम करते हैं. स्तोता पणियों द्वारा चुराई गई अपनी गायों को जान पावें, उससे पहले ही वे गायों को खोजकर ले आते हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
The stota thus says that Indra loves his stota very much. Before the stotas can know their cows stolen by the merchants, they find the cows and bring them. (12)
तदिन्न्व॑स्य परि॒षद्वा॑नो अग्मन्पु॒रू सद॑न्तो नार्ष॒दं बि॑भित्सन् । वि शुष्ण॑स्य॒ संग्र॑थितमन॒र्वा वि॒दत्पु॑रुप्रजा॒तस्य॒ गुहा॒ यत् ॥ (१३)

इंद्र के चारों ओर वर्तमान सेविका रश्मियां प्रकाश देने के लिए जाती हैं. इन परम शक्तिशाली इंद्रानुचरों ने नृषदपुत्र शुष्ण को नष्ट करने की इच्छा की. इंद्र अनेक प्रकार से प्रादुर्भूत शुष्ण का मर्म जानते हैं. उसका जो मर्म गुहा में छिपा है, उसे भी जानते हैं. (१३)

Around Indra, the current sevika Rashmis go to give light. These most powerful Indranucharas wished to destroy The Lord's son of The Lord, Shushna. Indra knows in many ways the essence of the shushna, the son of the lord. He also knows the essence that is hidden in the cavity. (13)
भर्गो॑ ह॒ नामो॒त यस्य॑ दे॒वाः स्व१॒॑र्ण ये त्रि॑षध॒स्थे नि॑षे॒दुः । अ॒ग्निर्ह॒ नामो॒त जा॒तवे॑दाः श्रु॒धी नो॑ होतरृ॒तस्य॒ होता॒ध्रुक् ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिस अग्नि संबंधी तेज के समीप कुशों पर देवगण स्वर्ग के समान बैठते हैं, अग्नि के उस तेज का नाम भर्ग है. अग्नि के तेज का नाम जातवेदा है. हे होम संपन्न करने वाले अग्नि! तुम्हीं यज्ञ संबंधी देवों को बुलाने वाले हो. तुम द्रोहरहित होकर हमारी पुकार सुनो. (१४)
EN English Translation
The name of the agni on which the gods sit like heaven on the Kushas near the agni-related brightness is Bharga. The name of the agni is Jatveda. O home-endowing agni! You are going to call the sacrificial gods. Listen to our call without anger. (14)
उ॒त त्या मे॒ रौद्रा॑वर्चि॒मन्ता॒ नास॑त्याविन्द्र गू॒र्तये॒ यज॑ध्यै । म॒नु॒ष्वद्वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषे॒ ररा॑णा म॒न्दू हि॒तप्र॑यसा वि॒क्षु यज्यू॑ ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! वे प्रसिद्ध रुद्रपुत्र एवं दीप्तिशाली अश्विनीकुमार मेरी स्तुति एवं यज्ञ को स्वीकार करें. वे मनु के यज्ञ के समान मेरे यज्ञ में भी प्रसन्न हों. वे प्रजाओं को धन दें तथा यज्ञ के योग्य बनें. (१५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Let them accept the famous Rudraputra and the brightest Ashvini Kumar, my praise and yajna. They may also be happy in my yajna like Manu's yajna. They should give money to the subjects and become worthy of yajna. (15)
अ॒यं स्तु॒तो राजा॑ वन्दि वे॒धा अ॒पश्च॒ विप्र॑स्तरति॒ स्वसे॑तुः । स क॒क्षीव॑न्तं रेजय॒त्सो अ॒ग्निं ने॒मिं न च॒क्रमर्व॑तो रघु॒द्रु ॥ (१६)

ये सबके विधाता सोम राजा सबके द्वारा प्रशंसित हैं. हमने भी उनकी प्रशंसा की है. जिस सोम की किरणें जगद्बंधक हैं, वे प्रतिदिन अंतरिक्ष को लांघते हैं. घोड़े जिस प्रकार रथ के पहिए की नेमि को कंपित करते हैं, उसी प्रकार सोम कक्षीवान् ऋषि और अग्नि को कंपाते हैं. (१६)
EN English Translation
These are all-celebrated by all the vidhata Som Raja. We have praised them too. The mon whose rays are jagadbandhanakas, they touch the space every day. Just as horses vibrate the wheel of the chariot, so do the sage And The Sun, the sage, the som, and the agni tremble. (16)
स द्वि॒बन्धु॑र्वैतर॒णो यष्टा॑ सब॒र्धुं धे॒नुम॒स्वं॑ दु॒हध्यै॑ । सं यन्मि॒त्रावरु॑णा वृ॒ञ्ज उ॒क्थैर्ज्येष्ठे॑भिरर्य॒मणं॒ वरू॑थैः ॥ (१७)

वे अग्नि दोनों लोकों का कल्याण करने वाले हैं. वे विशेषरूप से तारक एवं यज्ञकर्ता हैं. अग्नि ने दुधारू गाय को उस समय दुहने योग्य बनाया, जब वह ब्याने योग्य नहीं थी. शंयु ऋषि ने महान् एवं प्रशंसनीय मंत्रों द्वारा मित्र, वरुण और अर्यमा की स्तुति की. (१७)
EN English Translation
Those agnis are going to do the welfare of both the peoples. They are especially taraks and yagyaks. The agni made the milch cow milkable when it was not fit to be married. Sage Shanyu praised his friends Varuna and Aryama with great and praiseworthy mantras. (17)
तद्ब॑न्धुः सू॒रिर्दि॒वि ते॑ धियं॒धा नाभा॒नेदि॑ष्ठो रपति॒ प्र वेन॑न् । सा नो॒ नाभिः॑ पर॒मास्य वा॑ घा॒हं तत्प॒श्चा क॑ति॒थश्चि॑दास ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्वर्ग में स्थित सूर्य! तुम्हारा बंधु मैं नाभानेदिष्ट तुम्हारा कर्मधारण करता हूं एवं गायों की अभिलाषा करता हुआ तुम्हारी स्तुति करता हूं. स्वर्ग हमारा एवं सूर्य का उत्पत्तिस्थान है. मैं सूर्य से कुछ ही पीढ़ी पीछे हूं. (१८)
EN English Translation
O sun in heaven! Your brother, I do your duty and praise you while wishing for cows. Heaven is our place of origin and the sun. I'm just a few generations behind the sun. (18)
इ॒यं मे॒ नाभि॑रि॒ह मे॑ स॒धस्थ॑मि॒मे मे॑ दे॒वा अ॒यम॑स्मि॒ सर्वः॑ । द्वि॒जा अह॑ प्रथम॒जा ऋ॒तस्ये॒दं धे॒नुर॑दुह॒ज्जाय॑माना ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यह स्वर्ग ही मेरा उत्पत्तिस्थान है. यही मेरा निवासस्थान है. सभी देव मेरे हैं एवं मैं उनका हूं. द्विजगण सत्यरूप ब्रह्मा से पहले उत्पन्न हुए. यज्ञरूपिणी गाय ने स्वयं उत्पन्न होकर यह सब उत्पन्न किया. (१९)
EN English Translation
This heaven is my place of origin. This is my place of residence. All gods are mine and I am theirs. Dwijagana was born before Satyarup Brahma. The sacrificial cow itself created all this. (19)
अधा॑सु म॒न्द्रो अ॑र॒तिर्वि॒भावाव॑ स्यति द्विवर्त॒निर्व॑ने॒षाट् । ऊ॒र्ध्वा यच्छ्रेणि॒र्न शिशु॒र्दन्म॒क्षू स्थि॒रं शे॑वृ॒धं सू॑त मा॒ता ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे अग्नि प्रसन्न, गतिशील, दोनों लोकों में जाने वाले एवं काष्ठों को पराजित करने वाले हैं. ऊर्ध्वमुख, सेना के समान प्रशंसनीय, शत्रुओं का दमन करने वाले, स्थिर एवं सुखवर्धक अग्नि को अरणि ने उत्पन्न किया. (२०)
EN English Translation
They are joyous of agni, dynamic, going to both realms and defeating wood. Arani produced the upward, as admirable as the army, the suppression of the enemies, the steady and pleasing agni. (20)
अधा॒ गाव॒ उप॑मातिं क॒नाया॒ अनु॑ श्वा॒न्तस्य॒ कस्य॑ चि॒त्परे॑युः । श्रु॒धि त्वं सु॑द्रविणो न॒स्त्वं या॑ळाश्व॒घ्नस्य॑ वावृधे सू॒नृता॑भिः ॥ (२१)

स्तुतियां करते-करते थके हुए मुझ नाभानेदिष्ट की उत्तम स्तुतियां इंद्र के समीप जाती हैं. हे शोभन-धन वाले अग्नि! हमारी स्तुतियां इंद्र के समीप जाती हैं. हे शोभन-धन वाले अग्नि! हमारी स्तुतियां सुनो और हमारे इंद्र का यजन करो. तुम अश्वमेध यज्ञ करने वाले मुझ मनु के पुत्र को स्तुतियों से बढ़ाते हो. (२१)
EN English Translation
The best praises of me, nabhanedishta, who are tired of praising, go near to Indra. O agni with wealth! Our praises go close to Indra. O agni with wealth! Listen to our praises and worship our indra. You raise the son of my Manu, who performs the Ashwamedha Yajna, with praises. (21)
अध॒ त्वमि॑न्द्र वि॒द्ध्य१॒॑स्मान्म॒हो रा॒ये नृ॑पते॒ वज्र॑बाहुः । रक्षा॑ च नो म॒घोनः॑ पा॒हि सू॒रीन॑ने॒हस॑स्ते हरिवो अ॒भिष्टौ॑ ॥ (२२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वज्रबाहु एवं नरपालक इंद्र! हमने विशाल धन की अभिलाषा की है, उसे तुम जानो. तुम हम हव्यधारक एवं स्तुतिप्रेरकों की रक्षा करो. हे हरि नामक घोड़ों के स्वामी इंद्र! हम तुम्हारी दृष्टि में पापरहित बनें. (२२)
EN English Translation
O Vajrabahu and Narpalak Indra! We have longed for huge wealth, you know it. You protect us, the faithful and the eulogists. O Indra, lord of horses named Hari! Let us be sinless in your eyes. (22)
अध॒ यद्रा॑जाना॒ गवि॑ष्टौ॒ सर॑त्सर॒ण्युः का॒रवे॑ जर॒ण्युः । विप्रः॒ प्रेष्ठः॒ स ह्ये॑षां ब॒भूव॒ परा॑ च॒ वक्ष॑दु॒त प॑र्षदेनान् ॥ (२३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दीप्तिशाली मित्र व वरुण! अंगिरागोत्रीय ऋषि यज्ञ कर रहे थे, उस समय यम गाय पाने की इच्छा से गए. उनकी स्तुति करने का इच्छुक, ब्राह्मण नाभानेदिष्ट उनका अतिशय प्रिय हुआ उनका यज्ञ पूरा हो और उन्हें पार पहुंचावे. (२३)
EN English Translation
O bright friend and Varun! The Angiragotrian sage was performing yajna, at that time Yama went with the desire to get a cow. Willing to praise him, the Brahmin Nabhanedisht loved him very much, his yajna should be completed and he should be overcome. (23)
अधा॒ न्व॑स्य॒ जेन्य॑स्य पु॒ष्टौ वृथा॒ रेभ॑न्त ईमहे॒ तदू॒ नु । स॒र॒ण्युर॑स्य सू॒नुरश्वो॒ विप्र॑श्चासि॒ श्रव॑सश्च सा॒तौ ॥ (२४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम गौएं पाने की इच्छा से जयशील वरुण की शीध्र स्तुति करते हुए उनके समीप अनायास याचना करते हैं. शीघ्रगामी अश्व इस वरुण का पुत्र है. हे वरुण! तुम ब्राह्मण के समान पूज्य एवं अन्न देने वाले हो. (२४)
EN English Translation
We make a request to Jayasheel Varuna with the desire to get cows and beg him spontaneously. The early horse is the son of this Varuna. Hey Varun! You are as revered as a Brahmin and give food. (24)
यु॒वोर्यदि॑ स॒ख्याया॒स्मे शर्धा॑य॒ स्तोमं॑ जुजु॒षे नम॑स्वान् । वि॒श्वत्र॒ यस्मि॒न्ना गिरः॑ समी॒चीः पू॒र्वीव॑ गा॒तुर्दाश॑त्सू॒नृता॑यै ॥ (२५)

हे मित्र व वरुण! अन्न धारण करने वाला अध्वर्यु तुम दोनों की शक्तिशाली मित्रता के लिए तुम्हारी सेवा करता है. तुम्हारी मित्रता प्राप्त करके अंगिरागोत्रीय ऋषि को सभी स्थानों के अनुकूल वचन सुनाई देंगे. जिस प्रकार प्राचीन मार्ग चलने के लिए सुखकर होता है, उसी प्रकार तुम अपनी प्रिय और सत्य स्तुति हमें प्रदान करो. Oh my friend and Varun! The food-holding adhwaryu serves you for the powerful friendship of both of you. By gaining your friendship, the Sage Of Angiragotriya will hear the friendly words of all the places. Just as it is pleasant to walk the ancient way, so do you give us your beloved and true praise. (25)
स गृ॑णा॒नो अ॒द्भिर्दे॒ववा॒निति॑ सु॒बन्धु॒र्नम॑सा सू॒क्तैः । वर्ध॑दु॒क्थैर्वचो॑भि॒रा हि नू॒नं व्यध्वै॑ति॒ पय॑स उ॒स्रिया॑याः ॥ (२६)

देवों के परम बंधु वरुण नमस्कार और शोभन स्तुतियों से प्रशंसित होकर बढ़े. दुधारू गाय के दूध की धारा उनके यज्ञ के लिए बहे. (२६)
EN English Translation
Varun, the supreme brother of the gods, grew up to be admired by salutations and shobhan praises. The stream of milk of the milch cow flowed for their yajna. (26)
त ऊ॒ षु णो॑ म॒हो य॑जत्रा भू॒त दे॑वास ऊ॒तये॑ स॒जोषाः॑ । ये वाजा॒ँ अन॑यता वि॒यन्तो॒ ये स्था नि॑चे॒तारो॒ अमू॑राः ॥ (२७)

हे यज्ञ के अधिकारी देवो! तुम हमारी महती रक्षा के लिए संगत बनो. हे अंगिरागोत्रीय ऋषियो! यज्ञ के लिए विविध प्रकार से प्रयत्न करते हुए तुम मेरे लिए अन्न लाओ. तुम इस समय मोहरहित होकर गाय प्राप्त करो. (२७)

O god of yajna! You be compatible to our great defense. O Angiragotrian sages! You bring me food while trying in various ways for the yajna. You get the cow without infatuation at this time. (27)
